Een van de bekendste wandelpaden ter wereld, de Inca Trail in de buurt van Cusco in de Peruaanse Andes, is een oud pad, gebruikt door Incan pelgrims als de route naar de spirituele citadel van Machu Picchu. Het is nu mogelijk om de opwinding te ervaren van het wandelen van het parcours, een nachthotel en het bezoeken van Machu Picchu tijdens een minder veeleisende, maar even spectaculaire tweedaagse tour. Beginnend met een unieke en onvergetelijke treinreis, begint onze trek bij KM104, de officiële start van de 'Short Inca Trail'. Onze route neemt ons mee naar het hart van de majestueuze Andes en we klimmen om een adembenemend uitzicht te hebben op de met sneeuw bedekte bergen en de oude ruïnes die nog steeds een bewijs zijn van de ongelooflijke technische prestaties van de Inca's. Onze wandeling eindigt met onze aankomst bij de Sun Gate van Machu Picchu. Ongetwijfeld een van de meest beroemde uitzichten op de planeet, dit nieuwe wereldwonder voor de eerste keer zien is een ervaring waarvan we garanderen dat hij voor altijd bij je blijft!

We booked our Machu Picchu tour with Guiding Machu Picchu and it was one of the best decisions we made. Everything was well organized from start to finish, and the team was always quick to answer our questions. David was a fantastic guide, friendly, knowledgeable, and made the hike even more enjoyable with his stories and insights. Having two chances to see Machu Picchu was also a huge bonus. Our guide for the Machu Picchu trek was absolutely fantastic! His knowledge of the history, culture, and every stone of the ancient site was impressive. The trip was very well organized! Javi was a great guide and made the experience a lot of fun! Alicja kept in contact with us the entire time and made sure we had everything we need and were picked up at the right time and even customized the trip so we could get back earlier since we had an early flight without missing out on anything!
We did short Inca trail tour and it was fantastic. It was challenging so we really felt like we’d achieved something once we reached Machu Piccu, but it was also a really enjoyable experience. Our tour guide David and the tour company Guiding Machu Picchu were excellent from start to finish, he made us all feel like a team from the beginning, ensured we took plenty of memorable photos and was very knowledgable and passionate about the Inca trail, Machu Piccu, and the Inca history and culture. We highly recommend this trek and David as a guide!
Booked our tour through guiding Machu Picchu and was the Best decision ever! They’re very organized and fast to reply to any questions or concerns I had. They took care of everything from start to finish. Our lunch on our hike was also incredible. David was an amazing guide, very knowledgeable and friendly and was great at stopping to tell stories or facts which helped give us small breaks during our hike. We just finished the sacred valley and 2-Day short Inca Trail and Machu Picchu. Our guide David was exceptional and his knowledge about the Inca history was excellent. we highly recommend Guiding Machupichu and David.
