2-daagse Addo Elephant Park Safari

The guide made a fair effort, but the whole program was tourist- Nepp: A day of endless driving around in the park, where only the abundant elephants and zebras show up again and again. Very nice, but that would be good in 3 hours. The nourished speculation on lions or other animals was nonsense given the small population in the park and the ember heat. The rest of the program consisted of a very good overnight stay and bought together loveless tourist trips of other organizers. The whole thing totally overpriced.

My guide Freddy is kind. The giraffe walking was very wonderful. The hotel was beautiful and the food was very good. I was able to relax in a big bath. The starry sky was also very beautiful. This is the tour I want to join again.

It was a very fulfilling trip. Elephants, Giraffes and Lions‼️The food at the hotel is delicious and very satisfying. I applied quickly during the cruise.

As part of our cruise with the AIDAprima we spent 2 days moored in Port Elizabeth and booked this excursion. We never regretted it at all. It was all perfectly organized. The tour guide of Afroventures, Sidwell, was super nice, had explained a lot to us about the wildlife in South Africa. During the tour of Addo Elephant Park Sidwell guided us to the attractions and was able to teach us everything we needed to know in an easy to understand English. The Dungbeetle river lodge we stayed at exceeded our expectations. It is beautifully situated on the Sunday River. The terrace offers a paradise view of nature. The boat trip on the river and the hike through the dunes was exceptionally beautiful. One climax chased the other. We will not forget the hike with the giraffes in the wilderness! Afroventures Tours is the perfect alternative to the overpriced AIDA excursions.

We can highly recommend the trip and would book it again at any time. The two days were fantastic. Addo Elephant National Park has lived up to its name. We've never seen so many elephants in one day. The accommodation and food were also great. Thanks to our guide John who made this trip unforgettable!

We saw almost all of the animals in the park the first day, giraffe walk the following day was fantastic! Overnight accommodations were superb and all guides were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend!

Frank was an amazing safari guide through Addo. He picked us up at our hotel in Port Elizabeth on time. He gave us a choice of a picnic or the restaurant at Addo. We wanted more time to see the animals so chose the picnic. He took us to a nice deli so we could choose our lunch. Frank knew the habits of the animals so we wasted no time driving around looking for them. His trained eyes spotted them quickly so we saw lots of the animals. He then dropped us off at the Belleview Animal Preserve where we had dinner and spent the night. The food and lodging were satisfactory. The next morning we toured the giraffe section of the preserve where we could get out and walk among the giraffes. Afroventures picked us up and drove us to lunch near the boat launch. Lunch was satisfactory. We were disappointed in the boat trip as the driver didn't give us much information about the river. The boat also had engine trouble.

Amazing two days! Freddie looked after us day 1 and made sure we had plenty of water as the temperature went to 49 degrees. Boat trip was really relaxing and we survived the walk up the dunes in the heat. The giraffe safari was amazing and got really close for some great photos. Day 2 Sidwell was our Addo Safari tour guide - he was epic and so good at spotting all the animals…..all round great trip!

This agency offers an excellent tour to Addo Park near Port Elizabeth to see the Big Five with a 2nd day that includes Sundays River cruise, Alexandria dunes and giraffe discovery. Seadwell is an excellent Guide, smiling, professional and it was a pleasure to talk to him during these two days. I recommend.

What a wonderful way to spend three days in South Africa. The amazing and personable Sidwell was our primary guide for an extended 3-day safari journey that took us from the Addo Elephant Park to the Bellevue Giraffe Walk and finished up at the Zebra National Park. Our guide Sidwell was knowledgable and helped make us all comfortable during our three-day trek. Bradley at Bellevue was equally able to impart his knowledge and understanding to us while walking within yards of giraffes. And Andrew the Cheetah Tracker at the Zebra Park was phenomenal. Accommodations were first-rate, as was the food and narration at each of the venues. Leigh, the tour organizer, was capable, responsive and flexible, as he was able to satisfy our multi-generational group, ranging in age from 8 to 77.
