Addo Elephant National Park - de enige plek ter wereld waar de 'Big 7' van Afrika leeft - leeuw, buffel, luipaard, bedreigde zwarte neushoorn, olifant (meer dan 700!), grote witte haai en de zuidelijke rechtse walvis. Dit fijn afgestemde ecosysteem biedt een ongeëvenaarde biodiversiteit en een magnifieke game-kijkervaring in een malariavrije omgeving. Addo Elephant National Park - De thuisbasis van de 'Big 5' en een van de dichtste olifantenpopulaties in Afrika. Addo biedt een ongeëvenaarde biodiversiteit en een prachtige game-kijkervaring in een malariavrije omgeving. Het oorspronkelijke olifantengedeelte van het park werd uitgeroepen in 1931, toen er nog maar elf olifanten in het gebied waren. Tegenwoordig is dit fijn afgestemde ecosysteem de thuisbasis van een van de dichtste olifantenpopulaties op aarde, met meer dan 700 olifanten, leeuwen, buffels, de met uitsterven bedreigde zwarte neushoorn, gevlekte hyena, luipaard, een verscheidenheid aan antilopen- en zebrasoorten, evenals de unieke Addo looploze mestkever, vrijwel uitsluitend te vinden in Addo. Het park kan exclusief claimen het enige nationale park ter wereld te zijn dat de ‘Big 7’ – de Big 5, evenals de zuidkaper en de grote witte haai voor de kust van Algoa Bay, heeft behouden.

We kunnen geen ophaalservice aanbieden vanaf de volgende locaties : Valley Bushveld Country Lodge, Harmony Luxury Tents & Barefoot Addo Elephant Lodge. Voor deze locaties kan een ontmoetingspunt worden geregeld. Geef uw hotel, guesthouse, backpacker hostel etc. op het moment van het maken van de reservering. Een van onze teamleden neemt de dag voor uw tour contact met u op om de exacte ophaaltijd te bevestigen

Amazing experience. Our guide Sidwell told us everything about the park and the animals within and tried his best to show us all off them. Can only recommend
I went there solo - got picked up at the hotel on time, then the others of the group. Our Guide Sidwell was fantastic! He went out of his way so that we could possibly see the animals. And what we saw was so great - elephants close up, buffalos, warthogs next to the car. Sidwell explained everything super well. And in the end delivered us all back safely. It was a great experience I can only warmly and wholeheartedly recommend.
The safari was a wonderful experience. We were able to see a lot of animals and we learned a lot about them, the national park and South Africa in general. Our guide John was super friendly, helpful and always open to questions. Moreover, he provided us with food and drinks which was highly appreciated. He's a very cool guy and I highly recommend him as a Safari guide!
Very nice tour. The guide Sidwell made every effort for me to see as many of the animals as possible. It was a great opportunity to see especially the elephants up close in their natural habitat.

Had the best experience with great views and the tour guide was also kind and helpful. The trip was definitely worth the money. The visit took a full day arrived in the morning and left afternoon and the most amazing part was that the guide really ensured that we see most of the animals and got good pictures too. Will definitely visit again

Visited in December. Did a self tour for a few hours before doing the sunset guide tour. Limited viewing of lion and predators unfortunately. Did see loads of elephant and zebra. The restaurant was average and overall the day was not as exciting as anticipated

I had the most incredible experience at Addo Elephant National Park,truly a once in a lifetime moment.Seeing so many elephants in their natural habitat was absolutely breathtaking, and as someone who grew up in Africa, that says a lot. We were also lucky enough to see a variety of other wildlife, which made the entire experience even more magical. A special thank you to John,our guide, whose professionalism and warmth elevated the entire experience.He was patient,knowledgeable,and incredibly attentive.He also captured the most stunning photos of both us and the animals,making it perfect for solo travelers who want to fully enjoy the moment without worrying about who will take their pictures.
