We went as a family and this was our first international trip. I was nervous about safety. Every guide and driver treated us like guests in their home. The pyramids the temples the desert all incredible. But what I will remember is the bellman at the Luxor hotel who saw my son struggling with his backpack and carried it to the room. Then refused a tip. Smiled and said welcome to Egypt. That is the hidden cost that never appears on the bill. The whole trip was 14 days of that warmth. Best for families who need to show their kids that the world is mostly kind.
I went with my wife and we were both nervous about the sleeper train after reading mixed stuff online. Honestly we loved it. We boarded around 8pm from Cairo and our compartment was small but spotless. Dinner came on a tray chicken rice veggies nothing fancy but hot and filling. Around midnight I woke up and pulled the curtain aside. Just darkness and occasional lights from small stations. Felt like a movie. The toilet situation is real though I will not lie. One per carriage and it gets busy in the morning. We freshened up with wipes and survived. Total cost included in the tour so no extra admission here. Length of visit was a full overnight about twelve hours. Atmosphere was cozy and quiet. Crowd size was maybe fifteen other tourists on our carriage. Staff kept the carriage clean and knocked on our door with tea at 6am sharp. Best for couples who want something different from another hotel night.
The journey of magic has seen many great temples, and the tour guides will explain in detail the historical and mythological stories, which is very fascinating. The tour guides all took care of me in their own different ways, ensuring the comfort and safety of the journey. They also took me to taste different local snacks, which left a deep impression on me. The hotels are also very unforgettable for me. This trip gave me a very preliminary but different understanding of Egypt, and I hope to come back next time.

What we thought would be a simple family tourist trip, ended up being an unforgettable experience. They were days full of history, culture and entertainment, traveling through different cities and knowing beautiful places.
