Onze Gids haalt u 's ochtends vroeg op van uw hotel / luchthaven en gaat vervolgens naar het dorp Materuni. Materuni ligt onder de voet van de Kilimanjaro. Geniet van een ochtendwandeling in het dorp, omringd door prachtige tropische regenwouden, waardoor u een schilderachtig uitzicht over de stad hebt als u de watervallen nadert voor een verfrissende duik in het watervalzwembad, als het weer het toelaat. Je kunt ook het culturele erfgoed van de Chagga-stam verkennen door middel van hun lokale bananenbier en koffie die traditioneel is gebrand, terwijl je kunt deelnemen aan het koffiezetproces tot de finale. Na een kop koffie geniet u bij Materuni van uw lunch en vers fruit. Vervolgens is Kikuletwa warmwaterbron met een fantastisch zwembad met kleine vissen die gratis voetmassage bieden. Geniet van een paar uur ontspannen, kletsen en zwemmen onder het genot van een biertje/frisdrank voordat u teruggaat naar uw hotel of luchthaven.

Materuni-waterval is een van de watervallen in de regio Kilimanjaro, Noordoost-Tanzania, die de voorkeur geeft aan dagtochten. Het wordt gevonden in het dorp Materuni aan de rand van het bergreservaat Kilimanjaro. De waterval is gezegend met een geweldig uitzicht op het tropisch regenwoud, koffieplantages, bananen en avocado's. Koffie excursie; Tijdens dit bezoek krijg je voldoende uitleg over hoe koffie wordt verbouwd vanaf de nulleeftijd tot wanneer het als drank wordt gebruikt. Ze hebben alle faciliteiten om te helpen met lesversterking. De uitleg duurt ongeveer een uur. Je kunt deelnemen aan het maakproces samen met lokale dansen en liedjes, dan heb je eindelijk een paar kopjes verse koffie terwijl ze een heerlijk lunchbuffet met wat vers fruit voor je bereiden. 2 uur naar deze attractie.
De warmwaterbronnen van Kikuletwa, ook wel Chemka Hot Springs genoemd, liggen dicht bij het dorp Rundugai en zijn een van de mooiste plekken in Noord-Tanzania om te ontspannen. Na Materuni rijden we naar de hotspring. De bron is omgeven door palm- en vijgenbomen met kronkelende wortels. Blue Monkeys zijn vaak 's ochtends in de bomen te zien, terwijl het kristalheldere water uitnodigt tot een verfrissend bad. Geniet van een heerlijke dagtocht in de zon, ludieke activiteiten met vrienden aan de kleine bar en zwemmen onder het genot van een paar flesjes bier of frisdrank. In de late namiddag keren we ontspannen terug naar de stad. 2 uur reistijd terug naar Marusha

My girlfriend and I spent the day visiting Materuni waterfalls and coffee tour it was one of the best experiences of our trip. The walk through the village and amidst the greenery was very peaceful, and our local guide made the experience even more meaningful by telling us interesting stories about the culture, coffee farming, and daily life there. Our guide was friendly, patient, and answered every question with genuine enthusiasm. The moment we reached the falls was unforgettable, as the sound of the water and the surrounding forest created a peaceful atmosphere. Everything was perfectly organized by Kibo Mawenzi Safaris we really enjoyed from beginning to end.

The experience of learning about the local heritage while enjoying freshly brewed coffee made the whole thing personal and meaningful. The Chemka Hot Springs were a wonderful place to end the day. The experience of swimming in the naturally clear water amidst the large trees created a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. Every member of our family enjoyed different aspects of this trip, making it a perfect choice for travelers of all ages.
We had an amazing time in this excursion! Our guides were amazing. Michael was really helpful and he was very knowledgeable about everything. He would provide us with facts, talk about the culture of the place and show us different things during the tour. He was also really helpful with elder members of the group during the hike up to the waterfall. The waterfall itself was amazing, the views was great and the hike was really fun. We then went to the coffee farm where we learned about how the local coffee is made and then we got involved in making our own coffee! The experience was also fun as they sang songs, did a little ritual and the coffee boys took our phones to take pictures and video so we could just enjoy the experience! We also had an amazing lunch there too. The springs was also really nice and really fun. Overall the experience was very good and I’d highly recommend it!

From the beginning, the trip felt authentic and well planned. The walk to the waterfall was full of beautiful views and interesting facts about the local area. The view of the powerful waterfall in the middle of nature was breathtaking. One of our favorite parts was the coffee experience, where we learned every step from the coffee bean to the cup. The local hosts were hospitable and lively, and they made the experience educational and entertaining. The Chemka hot springs were a perfect end to the day. We would absolutely recommend this peaceful and enjoyable authentic day.

The waterfall was beautiful and peaceful, an ideal place to stop and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. The coffee tour was equally memorable. Our Materuni Waterfall & Coffee Tour with Kibo Mawenzi Safaris was absolutely amazing. Kibo Mawenzi peacefully organized everything. Our guide Elia was friendly, knowledgeable, and very patient with our children. The coffee-making session was interactive and fun, giving us a real taste of Tanzanian traditions. Elia was a really special guide for us, he was very helpful and friendly. He explained Tanzanian cultural. We tasted the raw coffee and witnessed the making process. Authentic day beautiful memories.
We did this activity with Issah the professional guide. It was amazing. We started from Arusha to Materuni for around a little over 2 hours, but talking with Issah time passed really quickly. The materuni waterfalls were really pretty and Issah proved to be a good guide, we then shared with another group a very good lunch and learned a lot about coffee making, it was fun and entertaining, we really had the best time with Kibo Mawenzi Safaris.
My wife and I loved how our guide shared stories about the land, the people, and their traditions. The waterfall itself was breathtaking, loud, and powerful, yet calming at the same time. Our participation in the coffee process was unexpectedly fun-pounding beans, laughing at our technique, and finally tasting the result. Really it was our very refreshing and enjoyable day and it perfectly organized Kibo Mawenzi Safaris, they were really amazing.
