Onze tour begint in het hart van de Heilige Vallei van de Inca’s, met ophaalmogelijkheden beschikbaar vanaf Urubamba of Ollantaytambo. ’s Morgens vroeg Vanaf daar maken we een comfortabele rit naar het Ollantaytambo treinstation
Vanaf dit punt stap je op de schilderachtige trein naar Aguas Calientes, een charmant stadje aan de voet van de Andes en bekend als de poort naar Machu Picchu. Terwijl de trein zich een weg baant langs de Urubamba-rivier, wordt u omringd door adembenemende uitzichten op de bergen, weelderige valleien en een glimp van lokale dorpen langs de route. Bij aankomst in Aguas Calientes staat ons vriendelijke personeel klaar op het treinstation om u te verwelkomen en te helpen met alles wat u nodig heeft voordat u naar het historische heiligdom van Machu Picchu gaat, waar uw unieke avontuur echt begint.
Aangekomen in Aguas Calientes, zal ons team wachten op het treinstation om u te verwelkomen en te helpen met alles wat je nodig hebt. Van daaruit lopen we samen naar het busstation van Machu Picchu om een schilderachtige rit van 30 minuten te beginnen over de kronkelende bergweg die leidt naar de ingang van het historische heiligdom van Machu Picchu. Eenmaal binnen neemt uw Expert Engels sprekende Gids u mee op een uitgebreide 3 uur durende tour langs de meest iconische tempels, terrassen en heilige pleinen van de Inca citadel. Je bezoekt onder andere de Tempel van de Zon, de Intihuatana en de Heilige Rots, terwijl je leert over de geschiedenis, techniek en spirituele betekenis van dit wonder. Leg vervolgens de klassieke ansichtkaartfoto van Machu Picchu vast, de beste panoramische uitzichtpunten op de site, een moment dat u voor altijd zult onthouden. Na het verkennen neemt u de bus terug naar Aguas Calientes, waar u kunt ontspannen, genieten van een lunch of een wandeling maken door de lokale ambachtelijke markten voordat u uw reis voortzet.
Na je onvergetelijke bezoek aan Machu Picchu neem je de trein terug naar Ollantaytambo, waar je onderweg nog een laatste blik werpt op het prachtige Andeslandschap. Bij aankomst wacht ons team op u op het station om uw privétransfer terug naar uw hotel in de Heilige Vallei te verzorgen, zodat u verzekerd bent van een comfortabel en naadloos einde van uw reis.

Joel Guzman was an incredible guide and deeply knowledgeable. Not only did we learn a lot , but he took excellent photos. Throughout the tour Joel was attentive to so much more than just sharing historical information about the site ; he reminded us to drink water, made sure that we were in the shade as much as possible, gave us a heads up about washrooms, lent a hand with big steps or uneven areas, and answered any questions we had. As for the day trip as a whole - highly recommend

A+++ Experience! Our guide Joel Guzman had PhD level knowledge about everything and tied historical, cultural and social factors together, to tell a rich story of the regional history, how the conquistadors played a role in Machu Picchu’s history and how this all relates to today. Would highly recommend for families. He knew the answer to every esoteric question we had and also knows all the tricks to take the best pictures of your family on your iPhone camera. :).
Great time, fantastic guide. Recommend to enter MachuPicchu at 6 a.m. to feel this place uncrowded and see the sunrise.
