Deze avontuurlijke eendaagse tour combineert een bezoek aan de wereldberoemde Snow Monkeys of Jigokudani met ochtendplezier in de diepe poedersneeuw van Shiga Kogen - het grootste skigebied van Japan! Inclusief lunch en geleid door een lokaal Engelstalige gids, volgt deze tour een eenvoudige vergelijking: sneeuwapen + veel meer sneeuw = veel plezier in Shiga Kogen!

Je wordt naar het centrale gebied van Shiga Kogen vervoerd voor een ochtend vol sneeuwplezier, met een afgebakend activiteitengebied waar je van kunt genieten met behulp van sneeuwscooters, sneeuwdrives en ouderwetse sleeën en tubes. Terwijl je in het resort bent, heb je ook tijd voor de lunch in een restaurant naast de skigebieden - inbegrepen in de prijs van de tour.
Ontmoet deze werkelijk nieuwsgierige wezens en geniet van de unieke ervaring om ze van dichtbij te observeren. Je gids laat je kennismaken met alles wat ze zo uniek en beroemd maakt, terwijl je voldoende tijd hebt om het zelf te ontdekken. Houd er rekening mee dat de geschatte tijd in het apenpark inclusief wandelen langs het bospad is: 1,6 km enkele reis / 25 minuten enkele reis in de zomer, iets langer in de winter. Wij streven ernaar om onze gasten 1 uur in het park te geven om de apen te observeren.

- Reizigers moeten ten minste een gemiddelde conditie hebben
- Gasten moeten het apenpark in en uit lopen langs een pad van 1,6 km. In de winter worden het parcours en het park aangetast door sneeuw en ijs. Deze wandeling mag niet worden ondernomen door iemand die slecht ter been is, in een rolstoel zit of niet zelfverzekerd een langere afstand over sneeuw en ijs kan lopen. Als u zich zorgen maakt over het vermogen van u of een lid van uw groep om met de voorwaarden om te gaan, neem dan contact met ons op voordat u boekt.
- Bij deze tour is skiën of snowboarden niet inbegrepen, en er is ook geen tijd om uw eigen skiën en snowboarden te regelen terwijl u in het resort bent.
- Er zijn een paar dagen in het jaar dat de apen misschien niet naar het park komen of dat de apen het park vroeg verlaten. Hoewel het onwaarschijnlijk is dat dit zal gebeuren, is het mogelijk en ligt dit buiten onze controle.
- Hoewel het onwaarschijnlijk is dat de weers- of wegomstandigheden het onmogelijk maken om toegang te krijgen tot Shiga Kogen, zouden we de activiteit omzetten naar een bezoek aan de Zenko-ji-tempel. Omdat we de weersomstandigheden pas op de dag van de tour kunnen bevestigen, kunnen we gasten niet van tevoren op de hoogte stellen van de wijziging.
- Baby's (0-5) zijn gratis. (Er is geen tourmaaltijd inbegrepen. Bestel eten rechtstreeks bij het restaurant.)
- Deze tour is verzekerd, maar als gast bent u verplicht om over een eigen reisverzekering te beschikken die sneeuwactiviteiten dekt, waaronder het rijden op stoeltjesliften en het gebruik van snowdrives, snowscoots, sleeën en tubes. Bevestig voorafgaand aan de tour dat uw verzekeringspolis deze activiteit dekt.
- De temperatuur in de Shiga Highlands is in de winter koud en kan min 5 – 10 graden zijn. Trek warme, waterdichte kleding en laarzen aan voor activiteiten in de sneeuw. Sneeuwoutfits (sneeuwjassen, broeken, handschoenen, snowboots) zijn te huur voor ¥ 500 per stuk. Indien nodig kunnen stijgijzers worden gekocht bij Snow Monkey Park.
- Houd er rekening mee dat er mogelijke wijzigingen in de reisroute / inbegrepen ervaringen kunnen zijn als gevolg van lokale evenementen, het weer, de beschikbaarheid van restaurants of andere onvoorziene factoren.

The tour guide, Mr. Dillon was really fun, engaging, friendly, and helpful! Same goes for our tour driver, (Unfortunately we forgot his name but he’s been over to Bali, Indonesia 6 times) he was so polite, kind, and ready to help us.

Excellent trip! Would definitely recommend. Our guide Hiroshi was very friendly and knowledgeable. The snow fun was great on slopes that were very quiet with lots of sledge options to choose from. The lunch was very tasty and relaxed and then to the snow monkeys where we had plenty of time to walk around and take pictures before stopping at the cafe for a snow monkey latte!

Can’t recommend this tour enough. Jake was awesome! He was super friendly and managed to answer all 5000 of my partners questions. Lunch was fantastic and the park was beautiful. Definitely worth getting some shoe spikes if you go in winter (you can buy them before you go in for 1300 yen). Also worth getting some apple pie!

We had the best day ever!!! For my 60th birthday I wanted to see and play in the snow, as living in the tropics it was something I'd always longed to do. Dillon was so much fun. He made us feel young again with his enthusiasm. We played like kids in the snow. Lunch was delicious, (I couldn't eat it all) Then it was up to see the snow monkeys, they are so healthy, as they are let roam free. It snowed most of the day. My husband and I were so impressed at how well Dillon spoke Japanese. Thanks again Dillon, we will not forget this magical day. :)

Wonderful snowy day in a wonderful scenery, the ski resort was very amiable for muy kids and the walk to de snow monkeys was fantastic. Hiroshi was great.
Pleasant experience with our amazing tour guide Hiroshi. There were only 2 others with our tour group making it a small group of 4. It felt like a private tour. Hiroshi spoke very good English and provided us with lots of interesting information about Nagano and the snow monkey park. The lunch was a delicious beef hotpot at a semi-private area of the restaurant. Hiroshi had organised our snow monkey park tickets beforehand so we did not have to queue in the line. I would highly recommend joining the tour if you want a stress free day to focus on enjoying the activities and sights.
