Geniet van een premium tour met kleine groepen – meestal 6-8 gasten – waarbij natuur, cultuur en heerlijk lokaal eten op één soepele dag worden gecombineerd. Begin bij Nagano Station en ga naar Jigokudani Snow Monkey Park. Wandel een rustig bospad om wilde makaken te zien ontspannen in natuurlijke warmwaterbronnen - een van de meest iconische bezienswaardigheden van Nagano. Bezoek vervolgens Obuse voor een lokale lunch en een historische sakeproeverij van de brouwerij. Geniet vervolgens van wat vrije tijd in dit charmante stadje, lang geassocieerd met de kunstenaar Hokusai, wiens latere jaren in Obuse hebben bijgedragen aan het vormgeven van zijn culturele identiteit - struin door de schilderachtige straten, blader door lokale winkels en proef een paar lokale lekkernijen in je eigen tempo. Op 8 : 45 uur is er ook tijd voor een facultatief bezoek aan de Zenkoji-tempel – een van de belangrijkste historische bezienswaardigheden van Nagano (niet beschikbaar op 9 : 35 uur). 8:45 AM: Ontmoet elkaar voor Becks Coffee op Nagano Station voor een warm welkom van je gids. Hoe er te komen: Als je vanaf Tokyo Station reist, neem dan de 6:52 AM of 7:20 AM Shinkansen om op tijd te arriveren.
Zie wilde Japanse makaken weken in natuurlijke warmwaterbronnen, een iconische Nagano-ervaring.
Verken de pittoreske straatjes van Obuse, bekend om zijn artistieke erfgoed, traditionele vakmanschap en kastanje delicatessen. Geniet van een heerlijke lunch met verse, seizoensgebonden gerechten zoals Nagano kip, mals varkensvlees of vegetarisch geraspte yam.
• Proef twee soorten premium sake bij een lokale brouwerij (30ml per stuk). • Als u niet deelneemt, verken dan de schilderachtige straten van Obuse gedurende deze tijd.
Neem wat vrije tijd in Obuse om door de schilderachtige straatjes te slenteren of blader door charmante lokale winkels in uw eigen tempo. Gasten kunnen er ook voor kiezen om het Hokusai Museum zelfstandig te bezoeken (toegang niet inbegrepen).
Flexibel einde (alleen vertrektijden van 8:45 uur): Terugkeer naar Nagano Station of geniet van vrije tijd in de Zenkoji-tempel Na een bezoek aan Obuse kunnen gasten op 8 : 45 AM vertrekken kiezen hoe ze de dag willen eindigen. Als u de tour liever eerder beëindigt, kunt u direct worden afgezet bij Nagano Station. Degenen die de Zenkoji-tempel willen bezoeken, kunnen genieten van vrije tijd bij een van de belangrijkste historische bezienswaardigheden van Nagano voordat ze terugkeren naar het station. Na het afzetten van de gasten bij Nagano Station, zal de Gids terugkeren naar Zenkoji om degenen die de tempel bezoeken op te halen en terug te brengen naar Nagano Station. Deze optie is niet beschikbaar op 9 : 35 AM vertrekken.
3:30 - 4:30 – Tour eindigt • Sluit je dag af met de keuze om terug te keren naar Nagano Station of je avontuur voort te zetten bij de Zenkoji-tempel. • Of u nu de voorkeur geeft aan een ontspannen finish of extra verkenningstijd, de route is ontworpen om uw tempo aan te passen. • De exacte eindtijd is afhankelijk van het tempo en de voorkeuren van de groep, waardoor een flexibele en plezierige ervaring voor iedereen wordt gegarandeerd.

- De kans bestaat dat de apen niet verschijnen omdat het wilde dieren zijn. Hoewel waarnemingen over het algemeen betrouwbaar zijn gedurende een groot deel van het jaar, zijn er momenten — vooral in bepaalde seizoenen — waarop ze mogelijk niet naar het park komen vanwege het weer, de beschikbaarheid van voedsel of andere natuurlijke factoren. Begrijp dat we geen terugbetalingen aanbieden als er geen apen aanwezig zijn tijdens uw bezoek. Ons team zorgt nog steeds voor een comfortabel voertuig, een deskundige gids en een goed gestructureerde route om uw bezoek zinvol te maken. Zelfs zonder de apen biedt de wandeling naar het park een prachtig boslandschap en een onvergetelijke natuurervaring - elk seizoen heeft zijn eigen charme.
- Eet of drink geen koffie in het voertuig om het schoon te houden voor iedereen. Flessen water en kleine huisdieren in dragers zijn oké.
- Tijdig vertrekbeleid : Tours vertrekken op tijd. We kunnen tot 10 minuten na de geplande vergadertijd wachten. Daarna worden late aankomsten behandeld als een no-show (geen restitutie / verzetten).
- Houd er rekening mee dat er vanwege mogelijke files kleine vertragingen kunnen zijn, waardoor de tour meer extra uren duurt. Gasten wordt geadviseerd om treinvertrek niet direct na de tour te plannen en voldoende tijd in te plannen voor het instappen.
- Wees in de winter voorbereid op temperaturen onder het vriespunt en ijzige, gladde omstandigheden in Snow Monkey Park door antislipschoenen te dragen of schoenplaatjes mee te nemen voor extra veiligheid.
- Flexibel einde (alleen vertrektijden van 8:45 uur): Facultatief bezoek aan de Zenkoji-tempel na obuse, gasten die ervoor kiezen om de Zenkoji-tempel te bezoeken, worden daar eerst afgezet voor vrije tijd. Gasten die liever rechtstreeks terugkeren naar Nagano Station kunnen dit in plaats daarvan doen. Na het afzetten van de gasten bij Nagano Station, zal de Gids terugkeren naar Zenkoji Tempel om de resterende gasten op te halen en terug te brengen naar Nagano Station. Deze optie is niet beschikbaar op 9 : 35 AM vertrekken.
- Piekwinterdagen : Als de parkeergelegenheid zeer beperkt is, kan het bezoek aan het Snow Monkey Park op eigen gelegenheid worden gedaan. We delen een duidelijk ontmoetingspunt, houden contact via WhatsApp en zorgen vooraf voor ticketgeld (ontvangstbewijs aangevraagd).

Het wordt ook niet aanbevolen voor degenen die de voorkeur geven aan minimale fysieke activiteit of zich ongemakkelijk voelen bij langdurige blootstelling buitenshuis in wisselende weersomstandigheden. Houd er rekening mee dat rolstoelen en kinderwagens niet toegankelijk zijn en dat er geen kinderzitjes zijn voorbereid voor deze tour.

This was a small tour and Masa was superb! Great directions on meeting point and check in. Gave some history and pointed out sites aling the way. Since this was a moderate hike to see the monkey's he was clear on what to expect and kept the group moving but not rushed so everyone could keep their own pace. Pretty muddy in spots but the hike was well worth it. Lots of time for pics and enjoying this amazing bit of nature. After the hike, stopped for lunch (loved the pork over the chicken). Might let them know of any allergies since this a preset meal. Then off to sako tasting...loved the Shu! 30 minutes to tour and then back to Nagano. Masa took great care of us and highly recommend him as a guide. Just awesome, encouraging us to take the time need to enjoy the mountain on our way!

Our guide Masa was wonderful and gave us a great experience. Despite the long walk it was well worth it to see the monkeys. Masa took us to a beautiful restaurant where we had an authentic lunch which we all really enjoyed. Afterwards we had a Sake tasting which was brilliant, it renewed my faith in Sake !!!! We were by far the eldest in the group, but Masa kept a watchful eye over us. All in all a great day, thank you Masa.

We had a lovely day out with Kei our guide. She was very friendly and her English was excellent. She took the time to chat to everyone and made us all feel comfortable. She even surprised me by saying Thank you to me in Welsh. Unfortunately there was not much snow around but it was a beautiful sunny day and we saw loads of monkeys. Lunch was in a beautiful restaurant in Obuse. The Japanese fried chicken was delicious. The meal was followed by a sake tasting session. We were able to choose 2 types of sake each to taste so managed to taste 4 between us. We had time to wander around the lovely little town after lunch and we enjoyed the local chestnut flavoured ice cream for dessert. The driver dropped us off at the Zenkoji temple so we had plenty of time for a bit of culture to round off the day,

My husband and I had such an amazing time on this tour! It turned out that we were the only two who had booked the experience that day and so it felt very luxurious. At Nagano Station, we were whisked away in a comfortable vehicle to see the incredible snow monkeys. It's a bit of a drive, then a bit of a hike to get to the actual park, but it was our first time in Nagano and we marveled over the scenery and learned a lot about the area. After plenty of time with the monkeys, we went to the charming Obuse area where we had a delicious lunch, followed by a fun and informative sake tasting. During some free time, we chose to visit the Hokusai Museum and sample some chestnut ice cream. We elected to visit Zenkoji on our way back to Nagano Station, which also included some time for grabbing local snacks and souvenirs on the street leading to the temple. It really was a well-paced, informative, and super entertaining day that I would recommend to anyone!

Cannot recommend enough! My husband and I had the most wonderful day. We started with a hike to the snow monkey park/onsen. The monkeys were so cool to look at, and it was up close and personal. The hike there and back was filled with gorgeous views. The town we had lunch in was picturesque, and the Hokusai museum had so many pieces to admire. We learned a lot at the sake tasting. It was a perfect, well rounded tour with the most amazing guide!

We beat the crowds which made it possible to get close to the onsen where the monkeys bathe. We enjoyed the sake tasting and lunch in the town was delicious. Masa-san was an excellent tour guide. We highly recommend this tour.

A terrific tour! I highly recommend Masa-san and this tour. Being a smaller tour, masa-san can beat the busloads of tourists to the Jigokudani Yaen-koen snow monkey park and give you some insights into the history of the park. This was followed by a lovely lunch in Obuse, a small town in the Nagano region. We toured the Hokusai Museum and enjoyed the area and its treats and snacks. The sake tasting was fun, and we even bought a bottle of our favorite. Masa-san is super-friendly and can adapt the tour as-needed. Thank you, Masa-san!
