Great experience and beautiful souvenir you create yourself!
If you are looking for an authentic and memorable cultural experience in Istanbul. The Turkish Carpet Rug Weaving Workshop is absolutely incredible. The team of young locals running the place are extremely welcoming patient and deeply passionate about sharing their heritage. They guide you through the weaving process step by step making it fun and easy to learn. The atmosphere is cozy friendly and filled with great energy plus leaving with a beautiful handmade souvenir that you created yourself is unforgettable.
It was such a lovely experience! I highly recommend for anyone who seeks a true authentic experience and create a beautiful mini carpet! The staff is super friendly and kind!!
My wife and I absolutely loved this rug-making class! It was our first time trying anything like this, and from the moment we arrived, we felt comfortable, relaxed, and completely welcomed. We really enjoyed the variety of patterns to choose from, the beautiful selection of wool colours, and, most importantly, the opportunity to learn such a rich cultural craft. It was genuinely an honour to take part in something with so much history and tradition behind it. Hamza and Ilker were fantastic teacher, engaging, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire experience. It was clear how much effort and care they put into making sure everyone got the most out of the class. They explained everything so well and created such a positive and enjoyable atmosphere. We also know they were busy with exams at the time, so we really appreciated them taking time out of their schedules to run the class. Their dedication did not go unnoticed. I would highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Istanbul who is looking for something relaxing, calming, creative, and genuinely fun.
