Best experience ever

This was one of the best experiences of my life, everything was so organised and they were very helpful when we wanted to change the time of our booking. The two guides we had were so lovely and welcoming and had a breadth of knowledge. We managed to see so many humpback whales, orcas, seals and sea lions. Definitely the highlight of my trip to Canada. The vessel was the perfect size with covered and uncovered sections so you could choose if you wanted to be inside, but it was still small enough to be more intimate. 10/10 experience I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to go whale watching. The location is also great with lots of cafes and shops around while you’re waiting.

Wonderful Day Exploring Marine Wildlife

WOW, just WOW! I booked a trip with Seebreaze for a dear friend and her son visiting Vancouver for the first time from Europe. In the end, she could not make it to the trip, as she injured herself the previous day, so I joined the trip with the kid. What a marvelous experience. The trip was foud hours long, leaving Steavston punctually around 9am and coming back at 1pm. During that time, we had exposure to the whole range of wildlife the Salish Sea can offer. We ran into a pod of orcas shortly after our departure -- keeping at a safe distance -- and while we were there they started hunting. We saw how their movements into the water changed, noticing the big splashes and, at some point, seeing one of them fully emerging out of the water. Incredible! After having spent 30-40 minutes with them, the captain informed us that it was time to move on, as orcas shouldn't get used to have too many boats around them (I found it very conscientious on his part!) and left the pod feasting on their prey. After about 15 minutes, we saw three humpback whales, two pretty close nearby and one further away. The captain shut off the boat completely, as the two whales were getting closer to us. They eventually dived deep in the water, showing their majestic backtails and resurfaced after a few minutes. Again we spent about 30-40 minutes watching them, then we left. We roamed around a bit until the captain and our guide spotted a group of sea lions enjoing the sun on an artificial platform around Tsawwassen, very close to the Delta port. There must have been about twenty of them, competing for space on the platform. Finally, as we returned towards Steveston, we saw a bunch of seals (one of them with a pup), more sea lions, bald eagles, and various marine birds. Our guide, Steph, was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and ready to answer to our questions. She took many photos with her professional camera, in part to track the orcas and humpback whales we saw in part for her own pleasure. I hope she follows up with her promise to share the best of those photos with us, as they will be a cherished memory of a truly wonderful experience. Many thanks to her, to the captain, and to the staff for being helpful, kind, and accommodating. Next time I have visitors, I will definitely recommend Seabreeze again (and, hopefully, I will join once more too!)

Highly recommendable!!

We had an amazing time! We were a family of five, 3 little kids. At first we saw some whales on the distance, which was beautiful. But after that we sailed to watch a family or orcas jumping and hunting, which was incredibly awesome. Even a whale mixed with the orcas! We spent nearly an hour watching their behaviour, it was incredible. We also saw sea lions and otters. The kids were fascinated, and so were we. The staff was super kind and nice. We would definitely recommend it!

Highly recommend Seabreeze Adventures!

We booked a 3-hour tour with Seabreeze yesterday, including hotel shuttle transfers. The semi-enclosed vessel was clean, comfortable, and gave us great photo ops both through openable windows and from the upper deck when stopped. The crew was fantastic, knowledgeable, and so welcoming. As someone prone to motion sickness, I was relieved by how smooth the ride was (and loved that they offered ginger sweets just in case!). We saw bald eagles, a turkey vulture, sea lions, seals, and humpbacks. Even though we missed out on orcas, spending time with the humpbacks was amazing. You can tell the team truly cares about wildlife protection and respectful distances. Would definitely book again!
