Make sure this is your first trip. If you’ve been to Washington before, avoid it. We had a Nigerian driver who knew everything but we didn’t understand him. He also didn’t help my husband get my handicap roll out of the back of the trolley during each stop. He wasn’t able to answer questions except for one or two. If this is your first trip it’s well worth the money, but don’t take it after you’ve seen everything.
Thank you for your feedback, Dulci. We're glad to hear you found the tour worthwhile for first-time visitors to Washington, DC. We sincerely apologize that your experience was affected by communication challenges and that your husband did not receive the assistance he needed with your mobility equipment. Your feedback is important to us, and we'll share it with our team as we continue working to improve the experience for all of our guests.
Unique transportation with several great stops and knowledgeable friendly accommodating staff. We all really enjoyed it.
Hi James! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the unique ride, the stops along the way, and the experience with our team. Our guides love sharing the stories behind each landmark while making every guest feel welcome and comfortable. We truly appreciate you choosing to tour with us, and we hope to welcome you back for another adventure in Washington, DC! Thank you so much!
The night tour at 8pm is the best time to visit the monuments. It’s cooler and less people. Josh was an easy going guide with a lot of knowledge. He also cares for the people.
We greatly appreciate your amazing review Andy! We're delighted you had a great time on the 8 PM night tour; there's nothing quite like witnessing the monuments in a wonderfully lit setting with lower temperatures and less people. We are particularly pleased to learn that Josh's expertise, laid-back demeanor, and sincere concern for every tour participant enhanced the experience. We'll make sure he hears your nice remarks. We appreciate you joining us and hope to welcome you back to DC again soon!
We were asked to be at the meeting point 10 minutes early (5:20pm), however we did not depart until 30 minutes late (6:00pm). Vehicle advertised is not what was used. Also directions say “must have printed copy of ticket”. The ticket (printed or mobile) was not even asked to be seen. I spent 25 minutes to get this printed. This company is unorganized & does not seem concerned with wasting people’s time.
Thank you Juleeann for taking the time to share your feedback. We're truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations. We understand how frustrating it is to arrive early as instructed and then experience a delayed departure, and we apologize for the inconvenience caused. We also appreciate you pointing out the confusion regarding the vehicle and the printed ticket instructions. While we ask guests to arrive early to allow for check-in and ensure tours depart as smoothly as possible, we recognize that better communication could have made your experience less frustrating. Your comments have been shared with our team so we can review our procedures and improve both our pre-tour instructions and overall organization. We appreciate your honest feedback and hope we'll have the opportunity to provide you with a much better experience in the future.
Kevin, our guide was excellent. He could not have done better. Knowledge, courteous, considerate, clever, good driver. Getting to Kevin was a challenge. We arrived at meeting point first but were served last because we were a family of 6. Most were 2 or3. They filled the vehicles they had with them first and no longer had room for us! The owner kept calling me to change to the following day or money back. NO. We came to DC that day for the tour. My husband and I are old . He rides a small scooter that folds to a carry on size suitcase and I have a folding walker. They said because of that they could not take us. Then they said we had to leave them in the car. We didn't have a car. Our tour was scheduled for 530. At 630 they are still talking at us. The manager finally reached an off duty guide, Kevin, to come to work. He arrived and we had a wonderful tour.
We appreciate you sharing your experience. We're delighted to hear Kevin made such a positive impression—his knowledge, kindness, and professionalism truly reflect the experience we strive to provide, and we'll be sure to recognize him for a job well done. At the same time, we're sincerely sorry for the frustrating start to your evening. We understand how stressful the delay and confusion must have been, especially after arriving on time and while traveling with mobility equipment. We appreciate your patience and determination to stay with your original tour, and we're grateful our team was able to get Kevin there so your visit to Washington, DC ended on a high note. Thank you for your honest feedback. It helps us improve how we handle larger groups and guests with mobility needs, and we truly hope to welcome you and your family again in the future.
Everything went very smoothly and saved us so much work and time. I would recommend booking ahead because it saves waiting in lines and you can get in as soon as it is your time. If it isn’t busy even earlier sometimes. Most of the tours gave plenty of time. The monument was a bit short at each one but our guide was excellent and did not rush us.
Thank you! John for your amazing review! We're so delighted to hear that scheduling ahead made your visit smoother and helped you make the most of your time. It's wonderful to know that, despite the timetables at each landmark, your guide made sure you never felt hurried. We sincerely thank you for recommending us, and we look forward to having you return for again another amazing time in Washington, DC!
It was short if you want to see wonderful Washington. We sure come again for more time. Kevin the guide was very good. He knows what he’s talking about and he’s doing it in an humoristic way
Thank you Carmel for your thoughtful review! We're delighted you had a great experience touring Washington, DC with us. Kevin will be overjoyed to receive your kind remarks; his expertise, enthusiasm for the city's past, and wonderful sense of humor are what make each tour unforgettable. We are eager for you to return so you may take advantage of all that Washington, DC has to offer!
Great time. A lot better then walking around the whole city with kids. I believe his name was Armanius? Sorry if we butchered the name but he did great. Was knowledgeable of the city and gave us time at the stops to take pictures or sight see. Give that kid a raise, he did great.
We're overjoyed to learn that your family had an amazing experience and that the tour made it much simpler for the kids to explore the city. We think you're talking about Armanius, and we'll make sure he hears your nice remarks. He will be thrilled to learn that his pacing, expertise, and photo stops left such a favorable impression. We especially appreciated your "give that kid a raise" comment—it sure gave us a smile! Thanks again for joining us, and we hope to welcome your family back to DC again soon.
Our guide was very knowledgeable. I loved all the inside trivia!
Thank you so much Nancy for your kind review! So delighted to hear you enjoyed the tour and appreciated all the inside trivia. Our guides love sharing the stories and little-known facts that bring DC's history to life, so it's wonderful to know that stood out to you. We hope to welcome you back for another memorable adventure soon!
There is apparently a great deal to cover in Washington DC, and with just two hours to do it Kevin did a fantastic job 👍🏻. My granddaughter and I had an amazing time. After spending a day and a half at the fair walking around the National Mall and then the added walking during the tour my 62-year-old legs and hips are killing me, but it was well worth it🇺🇸👍🏻🇺🇸.
We're delighted that you and your granddaughter had such an amazing time exploring Washington, DC with Kevin. Covering so much of the city in just two hours is no easy task, and we're thrilled he made the experience both fun and memorable. We hope your legs and hips have recovered after all that sightseeing—it certainly sounds like you made the most of your visit! Thank you for choosing to tour with us, and we hope to welcome you back for another DC adventure in the future. 🇺🇸, once again Thank you!
