The tour took as to the main sites.. but if you are really interested in learning more about US history like myself then this is a good starting point (overview) and then to explore them individually.

Very rushed. Couldn’t see anything from the bus. Extremely disappointed. Once at monuments basically said here it is now get back on the bus. We were so rushed that a lady fell at the Lincoln Memorial coming down the steps and required an ambulance. But despite this the tour kept moving at an even faster pace… skipped the Vietnam War Memorial all together .

This tour made history come alive! Dwayne was an amazing tour guide. He knew so much about the Capitol city, both history and current events. He also told us other great places to go while traveling. We were here for the American Nurses Association Membership Assembly and he made sure we got to see the Nurses Statue at the Vietnam Memorial. The way he described the statue, Faith, Charity and Hope bright years to my eyes. I have done a night tour before, but this was my favorite.

We enjoyed our tour. Tonya and Linwood were amazing! Seeing the monuments at night is an experience you need to do at least once. The tour was organized, and we had plenty of time at the various stops to enjoy and pause. The tour is 3 hours and a great opportunity to experience some of this nation's history. I highly recommend this tour.

It was nice to not have to drive to all of the locations yourself, but some had very limited time and felt rushed to get back on time, but were actually back 25 min early. Kind of pricey for what it was. It was hard to hear the guide unless you were right next to him, which is hard in a group of 30-40 people.

Our guide, whose name escapes me, had an encyclopedic knowledge of all of the landmarks and dates related on our tour. This tour encapsulates almost all the most important monuments and history in DC. Also a good explanation of the various governmental agencies along the route as well. Highly recommend this for any and all.
