Very informative but redundant and slow to get to the point. It was good to learn the history, but the guyed did not have to name each individual and provide quite so much detail. The tour could have been shortened by half and provided the same amount of information, and allowed us to go into some of the places the guide talked about.
This was very informative but kind of boring - we stood outside of each stop for a very long time and did not cover much area. The tour was long enough that we could have gone into some of the places that we discussed. We learned a lot but could have learned that much in less than half the time without all the repetition and so much detail.
I had an amazing time with the guide Delio, a fantastic person and with a lot of knowledge about everything he told us. Incredible tips, including we bought a Panamanian hat in an original store. We were happy with the tour and the guide.
Elmer was very knowledgeable about the history, geography, and culture. He even helped me schedule a coffee experience for the next day. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
Our guide was excellent! He knew everything about the area. The history, dates timeline. He is a walking encyclopedia! Very friendly as well.
Amazing morning with Marlin learning about Panama's history in Casco Viejo. Marlin was so knowledgeable & passionate about the rich history she conveyed so much information with enthusiasm & showed me books with pictures of the people she was talking about. I’m so glad I took this tour - it was like being transported back in time - the only regret is that I did it on my last day there instead of the 1st day because there were so many places I wanted to go back to visit. Marlin brought in personal touches too & pointed out where her Dad used to wait to ride the elevator in the grandest house owned by the Arias family. Would recommend this tour- 5 stars all round! Fascinating & fun - Marlin was an excellent guide.

Elmer was a wonderful tour guide. Explained history of city and neighborhood and its many historic sites. Pointed out the blend of diverse architectural styles. He was very attentive and gave us a sense of the rapid development and restoration of this old neighborhood and its many beautiful churches as and squares.

My tour with Elmer was great! I am traveling solo and felt like the tour was really thorough and it’s clear how much Elmer knows about the old town. This particular day the area was alive with music, dance performances, and the Brazil/Pamana soccer match. I would recommend touring with Elmer anytime you visit Panama!
