Yaz was very personable, polite, knowledgeable and fun! Carlos did a great job driving the van! 10/10 would recommend this tour!
Great experience! Very knowledgeable tour guide. He was truly amazing and had a great sense of humor.
Good experience, but cultural sensitivity was lacking given that the group had people of all nationality, the tour guide bought bananas to feed monkeys but be used very insensitive joke when he said “bananas were not for you to eat”, the joke was not funny at all.he also allowed people to bring and drink alcohol on the bus and the intoxicated people made the noise unbearable. It was disrespectful given that the were older people and children on the tour.
Omg this experience was nothing short of amazing. Our excursion was scheduled for August 10th in the morning. We got picked up from our location on time and the bus ride was very comfortable. Our tour guide was very pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. We saw both a two toe sloth and a 3 toe sloth and got to experience the monkeys in their natural habitat. The boat ride was my favourtie part of the excursion. I would definitely do this again!
The best experience ever the guy that was giving the tour was a amazing person a mis hijos le encantó todo
The crew is professional and friendly - did a great job trying to spot wildlife and explain about Panama and the animals. Very approachable and quite frankly surpassed expectations - hat tip to our guide Manolo - made our trip even more fun
From the moment we were picked at the Hilton hotel downtown Panama City and greeted by the tour guide Jessie and others we felt right at home. It was fun riding along through the town area and picking up other persons for the tour. When we got to the town for the monkey tour it was pouring rain so all 21 of us were given Panchos. Here the bus stopped at Restaurante Encanto for us to use the rest room. This restaurant was attached to a convenience store. From here we went to catch the boat to see the tamarind monkeys on the Gatun Lake , which was the highlight of the day. Afterwards the bus stopped at the restaurant again for us to use the rest room. Here we were given free snacks in a paper bag which included empanadas and plaintain cakes. These were the best empanadas I had since entering Panama. They were so good that we purchased some more. From here we went to a hiking trail to find sloths. We didn't see any (just two monkeys) so we left. However, on the way home, our driver Danny stopped the bus and he and Jessie walked the highway with binoculars to find a sloth for us. Guess what? They did! All of us got off the bus and saw one, way up in the tree, beside the road. Jessie allowed us to look through his telescope to get a closer look. He even took photos for us with our cell phones through the telescope. These two men went above and beyond to make sure that we enjoyed ourselves. Despite the rain I give this tour a 10/10.
This activity was the highlight of our trip. What an incredible experience. We saw a two toe sloth and a three toe. So many monkeys that ate out of our hands. Took a nature walk and learned about many plants and trees. The boat crossed paths with many cargo ships. Jazz our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. He speaks many languages and managed to remember all of our names. There was about 15 people from all different places of the world. Definitely would recommend this tour! It’s one for the books!
Best tours with the best guide and the best driver. It’s started on time, and it’s not to far from the Panama City. You see most animals and it’s very interesting ! Special thanks to Jay D he is a fantastic guide !
Manolo Ruiz was the best guide we have had in a long time. Highly interactive, informative and enjoyable tour. Saw lots of wildlife from monkeys to crocs!
