Vittoriosa, Cospicua e Senglea Vintage Bus Tour

Descrizione

3 of us stood by the Tanti ice cream Kiosk from 14.05 ready for 14.30 so that we would be early. The bus did not turn up. All 3 of us were constantly looking out for it and being a Vintage bus it would have stood out. We could not have missed it. It did not turn up. Very poor.
That's funny. Nice and very kind driver.
David the Guide/Driver very informative & going by all the waves & toot toots from other drivers he’s a Maltese institution.
Did the 3 cities vintage bus tour with David and was really enjoyable. Approx two hours driving around some of the smaller back streets of Sliema/Valletta and taking in the sights. Well worth a trip.
The seat was surely not the most comfy but the guide was really good , an easy way to see the 3 cities with my little one without exhausting too much ourself . I will say it was like going by in time with this bus really interesting
RUbbish company and full of crap. Staff very rude and they lied that the bus had come at Slilema and it never come. No proper guidance and I have looked at other reviews about this company and they all the say the SAME DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY SUPREME TRAVEL ARE RUBBISH.
Booking & transfer - smooth. Though there was no pick up & drop from our hotel, the bus transfer (to the start point at the ferry) was simple enough. They suggested we get a free ride on the hop on bus & the driver announced when to get off. Then, a quick 80 m walk to where you see the bus parked. Tour- live commentary so that's a plus, but more perspective of history needed. They overbook tickets so they turned people away, ruining their plans. Tour stop was at a really dusty square. So though it was central, it did not make any sense as it was almost a construction site. Could have picked better sites as there were a few nice ones. Just a couple of photo stops , we could have done a few more. The seats had cushions so it was comfy, but since its vintage, do not expect leg space.
Great experience with our enthusiastic driver and guide David. He moves his way through the traffic while telling stories about the areas we are passing. Pit stop of 30min at Vittoriosa with time for a walk in thus nice city. Thank you, David !
Reason: not satisfactory for the 5 star organization for the tour and for David the driver .I booked with the pickup option .The night before they send me an email with h. and pickup point near the hotel .But the bus does not pass. I ask for lights to an attendant of another bus line who helps me by calling the Tours Operator .So I find out that it will not pass as agreed but will leave from another place .Kindly always the attendant of another company gives me a ride to the place of departure, without charging anything with the bus of his own company .Arrived I discover that the bus has already left and the prox will leave at 2.00 (always thanks to the attendants of other companies to whom I ask for information).I wrote an email to the tours Operator but without feedback .Finally at 14.30 (sic) the vintage bus will leave .I ride very nice, courteous driver, kind prepared .On the return, having explained the mishap despite not being caused by him, he offers to book us a taxi .then he "boards" us on a bus line talking to the driver who took us near the hotel without charging anything. So I discovered the courtesy and kindness of the Maltese. I recommend it, very interesting but do not trust the directions of Hello Malta Tours, ask for confirmation. Thanks again to David
Well , we waited for quiet a long time There were two lots of people that didn't get there At ten forty five We cannot fault the lovely vintage bus But, they wanted to get their money's worth and they just crammed us in And it was the most uncomfortable ride we have ever experienced. We didn't even get to see hardly anything Because we could not move our bodies. We had elderly ladies that were nearly Falling out of the bus , it was a Atrocious I will not recommend this.
