Our private tour to Chichén Itzá with Alex was amazing! He was friendly, informative, and made the history come alive. The early start let us enjoy the site before the crowds, and everything was perfectly organized. Highly recommended!

Well worth the early wake up to beat the crowds and the heat! Our tour guide, Rosendo, was brilliant. Knowledgable, interesting, clear and kind. We rode in a comfortable minivan with airconditioning and the driving was safe. On the way back we were driven by car since we weren’t carrying onto the other places on the long tour. While the tour itself was great, we were disappointed with the tour company messaging us less than 24 hours before the start saying they didn’t have availability for the express tour as we were the only 2 who had booked it, wanting us to join onto the full day tour. They made it clear they wouldn’t charge us extra (although we would have had to pay more for cenote entrances) although it seemed like the full day tour looked cheaper than the express tour regardless… We had specifically booked the express tour as we didn’t want a 12 hour day going to so many different places in 35° heat. We were then scrambling around trying to find somebody else to take us as it was going to be our last day in Merida and we were desperate to see Chichen’Itza. I asked them for a refund but they didn’t reply to me for a long time, leaving us a stressful few hours of not being able to book another driver without refund confirmation from them. After a few hours they said that luckily 2 other people had booked onto the tour so they could take us as planned in the end. However when we spoke to the other couple on the express tour the next day, they told us they had booked it weeks ago. Overall a great tour but it’s a shame the company lacked professionalism the day before.

Expect a wonderful time. Our guide took care of my needs from start to finish. Rosendo was marvelous, the whole tour took place with the punctuality of a German train schedule, but was as forgiving as Hawaiiian Time when the need arose. Rosendo speaks perfect English and also French, and he’s very passionate and knowledgeable about Mayan culture and history. I can highly recommend this tour.

My tour to Chichen was canceled due to protests but was assigned to another one to Ek Balam and honestly I'm glad it went that way. Rosendo was an incredible tour guide. He was very patient and very knowledgeable. I definitely recommend booking with this company :)

Freddy and his driver provided a great tour experience. Even though we met very early (6:00am) I believe it was well worth it to get to Chichen Itzá as it was just opening for the day. Freddy gave a fantastic presentation in the van before arriving about the history of Chichen Itzá which made being on site even more incredible. Highly recommend this tour if you have plans for later in the day. We had a wedding rehearsal to get to so this is was a great option to have in the morning. It was also nice to be part of a small tour group (4 people) compared to the large cruise tour groups we saw.

Freddy and his assistant were delightfully engaging with the talent to convey their in-depth knowledge while keeping it light and entertaining. The temple of Chichen Itza was wonder to dwell inside with the ancients. But the Cenote was the jewel of the day. Taking the early start tour at 6:00AM was a defiantly a benefit. We arrived before the heat of the day as well as the incoming tour buses of tourists. They kept us one step ahead. They accommodated the very young to the other end of the spectrum. We enjoyed the tour and would recommend anyone with an interest in ancient history not to miss this tour.

Our guide Freddy gave us a fascinating master class on Maya culture and ingenuity before we even arrived at Chichen Itza. Our group ranged from 8 to 66 in age, and everyone was engaged. We were well prepared to understand what we saw once we arrived. If you book this tour, ask to go with Freddy. We got there before the crowds and left before the hoards from the cruise ships. It was amazing!

Excellent. Freddy is an excellent guide, he gave us a lot of very interesting information before we got to the site. It made a big difference to be able to appreciate what we were visiting. Highly recommended. Thank you very much

Great guide 👍 so friendly and knowledgeable but too many people; Although much more difficult enjoy UZMAL more because not many tourists.
