La giornata comincia alle magnifiche rovine di Chichen Itza, dove la nostra Guida certificata ci porterà indietro nel tempo con una visita guidata alla storia delle rovine. Dopo la visita guidata, avremo tempo libero per esplorare e scattare alcune foto dei luoghi che ti sono piaciuti di più. Ora è il momento di rinfrescarsi al Cenote Ikkil. Non c'è niente come le acque fresche di un rilassante cenote, e la vista dall'alto e dal basso sono semplicemente stupende! Dopo il cenote, faremo il pranzo regionale di cibo messicano. E per finire l'avventura, una visita alla magica città di Izamal Vedremo alcuni dei luoghi migliori di questo luogo, come il convento, il mercato locale e il parco principale.

We had a wonderful guide and a great driver. Michelle was very knowledgeable about Chichen Itza and Yucatecan history. She was friendly and very helpful. Diego was an attentive driver. We knew that the tour would be all day because of the four different stops. However, the day was too long. We were on the road for 12 hours! Chichen Itza was well worth the trip, and we could have stayed longer. Since the Cenote Ik Kal was so close by, it would be nice if we had the option of not going to the Cenote and remaining at Chichen Itza for another hour and being picked up after the others visited the Cenote. Izamal was lovely, but the hour-plus drive to get there was a bit much.

Our guide, Raul, was very knowledgeable. The length of time at each spot was perfect. Of course I knew about Chicken Itza in advance and it was spectacular. I am glad much of it has been restored. Izamal, the yellow city, was a pleasant surprise where we could actually climb a Maya pyramid. The swim at the Cenote was a nice way to cool off on a warm day. The buffet lunch was good as well. I wish I had known in advance that there would be a show while we ate. I would have brought more money to tip the dancers. Maybe they only have the show on weekends.

The Chichen Itza Adventure! Cenote and Izamal from Merida is a wonderful excursion and I highly recommend it, especially with our guide, Annel and driver, Diego. Annel was fun and very knowledgeable and made sure we beat the crowds at every stop. Annel provide information that made us appreciate everything we saw. Diego had a sense of humor and was a very safe driver. We had plenty of time to enjoy each stop and did not feel rushed. The lunch was delicious and at a beautiful hacienda that you can walk around. This was a very fun, pleasant and amazing excursion.

The trip was well organized. We left early enough in the morning to arrive at Chichen Itza before it was too hot or crowded. After Chichen Itza we went to a cenote where we could swim in the beautiful water and cool off. We finished the tour with a visit to Izmael where we could climb the pyramid/temple and also had an opportunity to visit the convent.
