Our tour guide/driver Dan was so engaging and informative. We didn’t notice the time because he made a long trip seem so short because of his scenic drive and engaging commentary. His stories were captivating filled with good-natured humor and an impressive knowledge of the area. Experiencing the beauty of Butchart gardens and downtown Victoria made the tour an unforgettable experience.
I was blown away by The Butchart Gardens! You could spend an entire day there. Absolute beauty everywhere you look. We used Pacific coach tours to get there from Vancouver and they are super professional, we also used them for a Whistler day trip and highly recommend the company. The coach is comfortable, the driver is highly educated and entertaining, providing excellent tips. The one thing I didn’t realize before we went is how much time is spent actually traveling. We had about three hours at the gardens and had to book it through there to see the whole thing, which I’m not sure we actually did. And then the time you spend in the city of Victoria isn’t really enough time to do anything meaningful. We had dinner and it was time to get back on the bus. I recommend staying at least overnight on Vancouver Island, there is so much more to do there and it’s beautiful! But if you’re in Vancouver and only have a day Pacific coaches the way to go.

Though it was a long day, it was great! Deon was excellent bus driver and tour guide. He didn’t lead any walks or tours but gave excellent information, suggestions and clear instructions. There was a bus issue but he handled it for us and we didn’t miss the ferry.

Deon our tour guide was great! He had super funny commentary and definitely knew a lot of fun facts along the way. The trip is all day so I would recommend to pack some snacks, but we all enjoyed it and would definitely recommend this tour to anyone

Our tour guide was the best. Informative, helpful, knew about everything. Got 2 hours at gardens. Absolutely breathtaking. ANYONE who loves flowers should go! We then spent an hour in downtown Victoria. It was beautiful and lots of pictures.

The garden is beautiful. We found the map somewhat confusing and we’re disappointed that the driver was not allowed to actually guide us through the gardens. It was raining. The rain was harder in Vitoria and I had difficulty walking so we went to the museum because it was close. We were told it was free, it wasn’t . It was about 13 hours with travel and a very long day.

Our Victoria & Butchart Gardens tour is indeed a full-day experience, typically lasting 12–13 hours, as it includes ferry travel, sightseeing, and time to enjoy both Victoria and the Gardens. While it is a long day, we hope it provides guests with the opportunity to experience two of British Columbia's most iconic destinations in a single trip. Thank you again for your comments.
