Questa escursione di un giorno ti condurrà al lato est di Xian e visiterà due importanti siti storici, che coincidono l'uno con l'altro, l'Esercito di Terracotta e il Palazzo di Huaqing. Inizieremo alle 7:30, un po 'mattiniera per evitare la folla. Circa 1 ora dopo, arriveremo al Museo dell'Esercito di Terra-cotta. Questo museo è costruito proprio sul sito originale dell'Esercito di Terra-Cotta come una grande protezione. Vedrete che il museo è composto da tre cave, che contenevano diverse figure in terracotta e armi classificate in base ai loro diversi ruoli in una battaglia. Ci concentreremo su Pit 1 e Pit 2 in quanto questi due contengono la maggior parte delle figure scoperte. Si dice che questo sito abbia in totale 8000 soldati ma possiamo vederne solo una parte adesso. Alcuni di loro rimangono non scavati. Nel pomeriggio, ti dirigerai verso l'ultimo sito di questa gita di un giorno - Palazzo di Huaqing. Era un palazzo per l'imperatore Longji della dinastia Tang per allontanarsi dalla corte stressante e godersi la primavera calda per cui questo posto è molto famoso. L'imperatore aveva una concubina di fama mondiale chiamata Yang Yuhuan, che di solito faceva il bagno qui. Ecco perché vedrai un paio di antiche vasche da bagno qui. Si sono divertiti molto in questo palazzo e hanno lasciato una meravigliosa storia d'amore alle generazioni successive. Al giorno d'oggi, vedrai ancora gli alberi che hanno piantato insieme e sotto il quale hanno fatto desideri di vivere insieme fino alla morte a parte. Our tour guide Stephanie was amazing. She went above and beyond our expectations. She was very knowledgeable and clear. It was quite an experience. She suggested the Silk Road show after the tour and made an effort to get us good tickets for the performance and waited on her own time. The show was spectacular and we would definitely see it again if we get another chance. We would highly recommend this private tour to anyone visiting Xian.

Excellent tour of the Terracotta Army and the very interesting Huaqing Palace, which was once a hot spring for the enjoyment of the emperor and his entrourage. There is even some fascinating 20th-Centrury histoy to discover in regards to Chiang Kai Shek and the so-called "XI'an Incident". Well worth a visit and Stefanie will certainly look after you and answer your questions, and give you key insights into the history and importance of the various sites you may chose to visit with Stefanie as your guide. Highly recommended, and Stefanie will arrange all the necessary tickets, drop-offs and pick-ups, lunch etc. We were very well looked after, well fed, and had a much clearer understanding of Xi'an and its importance in Chinese history.

The terracotta army was amazing and we were lucky because there was the the farmer who founded it. It was an honor to meet with him and we could make a photo and he gave us autogram as well. The Huaqing palace was also beautiful and interesting, but if someone wants to see all part of then it would need almost a whole day. And finally we were lucky again because we could go to watch the Tuo Ling Legend show and it was also amazing. So we would like to thank everything for our tour guide Stefanie, who organized an unforgettable day full of experiences for us.
