Visita guidata combinata alla Basilica di San Marco e a Palazzo Ducale: 1. La nostra Guida ti fornirà una grande quantità di informazioni riguardanti Piazza San Marco e poi ti accompagnerà in un tour dettagliato della Basilica d'Oro, un tempo cappella privata del Doge di Venezia, ammirando i mosaici dorati e l'imponente pavimento a intarsi marmorei. 2. Durante la seconda parte del tour la tua Guida ti accompagnerà a Palazzo Ducale. Una volta dentro, visiterete le sale dove il Duca (Doge) e il suo Consiglio controllavano le sorti della Serenissima Repubblica. Potrai ammirare i dipinti realizzati da alcuni dei più importanti artisti del Rinascimento Italiano, tra i quali, il più grande dipinto ad olio del Tintoretto al mondo. La tua Guida ti fornirà numerose informazioni riguardanti Piazza San Marco e poi ti accompagnerà in un tour dettagliato della Basilica d'Oro da Piazza San Marco, un tempo cappella privata del Doge di Venezia, unica nel suo genere in Italia, grazie ai sontuosi mosaici dorati e all'imponente pavimento a intarsi marmorei.
Durante il tour potrai assorbire l'atmosfera ascoltando la tua Guida che descriverà le scene bibliche rappresentate in tutto l'edificio, insieme alla storia e alle particolarità di questa antica Basilica. Visita il museo al primo piano della Basilica di San Marco e ammira i famosi cavalli e Piazza San Marco dalla terrazza della Basilica.
Continua il tuo tour e salta la fila all'interno del palazzo Ducale. Una volta all'interno del Palazzo, visiterai le sale dove il Duca (Doge) e il suo Consiglio controllarono le sorti della Repubblica Serenissima, circondati da centinaia di capolavori artistici e scoprirai la storia politica di Venezia e della sua gente. Potrai ammirare i dipinti realizzati da alcuni dei più importanti artisti del Rinascimento Italiano, tra i quali, il più grande dipinto ad olio del Tintoretto al mondo.
Passando attraverso il famoso Ponte dei Sospiri, raggiungerai le nuove prigioni. Al ponte fu dato questo nome dal poeta inglese Lord Byron, probabilmente facendo riferimento all'ultimo respiro dei prigionieri, che vedevano per l'ultima volta la laguna e di Venezia dalla finestra di questo ponte, prima che venissero imprigionati.
Al termine del tour, conserva il biglietto del Palazzo Ducale per visitare in autonomia: Museo Correr, Museo Archeologico Nazionale e Sale Monumentali della Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana in Piazza San Marco, lato opposto della Basilica di San Marco.

Great tour rich with history. So much too see. Famous landmarks and beautiful architecture. A must see
Small group and quick access with no waiting at all! Everything we wanted. We save a lot of time for the rest of the stay. Be sure to bring water before leaving! 2 hours non-stop (except for bathroom breaks)
The St. Mark's tour was lovely. Our guide was knowledgeable and spoke clearly so the entire group could hear her as we walked through the church. I will say I felt the tour could have been shortened by not spending quite so much time on tiny, less important details. The big things like the flood in the 60s, the restoration in early 70s, etc., those were very interesting. Some time to snap some pics and enjoy looking around, and we were ready to move on. Unfortunately due to some medical limitations in my family group, we didn't get to stick around for the Doge's Palace portion of the tour.

To start when we got to the meeting place our tour almost left without us The guide didn’t even acknowledge us. Another guest told us the tour was leaving. Then to add insult to injury I was denied entrance into the church because they didn’t like how much knee I was showing yet they let another guest go in showing the same amount of knee. We could not participate in the tour and when contacting viatoir they refused the refund Worst tour ever!
