Our tour guide, SHERRY was FABULOUS! She was personable, humorous, & full of fascinating info. We found ourselves hoping to catch her as our drIver each time we boarded the bus throughout the day.
The 24 hour pass is not true. The busses only run 9-5. The buses do not run frequently. We waited 30 plus minutes for a bus to arrive which takes a lot of time away from your travels. If you’re not in a hurry and don’t want to see all the places the bus stops then you might like it.
If you have never done a hop on hop off bus before I recommend it especially if you’ve got one day to see a city. had 12 hours between getting off our cruise ship and getting on our airplane to go home and we have done hop on hop off buses in Rome, London, Dublin, and San Francisco and I’ve never been disappointed. I find it is cheaper to pay for one adult ticket then to spend on Ubers or taxis to get to all of these places, we basically rode the bus around the entire city in about two hours and sawwhat there was to see. We didn’t get off Anywhere except at the Canada place terminal because my son needed to get back on his cruise ship where he works so we had a long with him and then decided to go back to the airport early as opposed to writing the bus around again. stops we would have gotten off at: Stanley Park, which looked amazing from the cruise ship and which would’ve been great fun to just hang out for a while, but we were too from lunch to bother. We also would’ve stopped at Granville Island because that’s what our son told us we needed to see but again we too full and ready just to go home to bother. Still, I would absolutely recommend the hop on hop off bus to anybody who is going to be in Vancouver for a short time it hits all the places most people wanna see and then you get right back on the bus and if you go to the next thing, excuse my photos, but I like taking pictures of neat buildings or things we don’t have in indiana.
Sherry , like the Spanish wine , LOL, was great ! She gave us a lot of information as she drove along. She has a great sense of humor. I highly recommend getting on her bus .

The only successful thing about the bus was that it came on time. The actual drive was not too bad but our tour guide spent nearly the entire bus ride talking about her past and made the entire tour about herself which made for an unpleasant drive I would not recommend this bus. Was genuinely horrible and I am gonna hear the commentary in my nightmares. Pure ripoff and waste of money please don’t buy this if you want a factual tour of Vancouver as all you will get is life stories from very dodgy tour guide Corinne.
Ok so we first got on the hop on bus with Sherry as our driver and tour guide and she was excellent !!! Funny and so informative with snippets of extra information that made the journey so enjoyable and fun . When we hopped back in again it was a different story . We listened to a pre recorded tape that was frankly a bit boring and was actually so low it was a struggle to hear it . Hop on need to keep employing excellent characters like Sherry to totally elevate this experience as the tail end was below average .
Great way to see the city of Vancouver, with opportunities to stop are explore some of the best areas.
Read the brochure and know when the last bus leaves for the day! 🤣 We had to uber back to our hotel!
