Visit South America is amazing! We gave them a two and a half weeks itinerary: from the Peruvian Amazon, to the Sacred Valley/Machu Picchu/Cuzco, to Lake Titicaca, to the Bolivian Salt Flats all the way to San Pedro de Atacama in Chile and they arranged it all. Faultlessly. Without a hitch. At a competitive price. We were met at airports, hotels and borders: always on time, always with a smile. The drivers were super safe, the vehicles comfortable and in great condition and the guides were knowledgeable, pleasant and spoke good English. And we were often given room upgrades at various hotels due to their connections. Visit South America’s representatives were always on call, checking on our progress regularly and ready to help if needed. We cannot recommend them highly enough and would definitely use them again.
Had the most amazing trip with a group of friends visiting Peru and Bolivia with the help of Kevin and the Visit South America team. His assistance in putting together our itinerary from our research and his own recommendations was fantastic. We have had the best trip and couldn’t fault the service at all. Both Kevin and his local team were always available to make sure everything went smoothly and last minute itinerary changes weren’t an issue. Thanks again guys!
From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Kevin and his team delivered a well-organized, seamless trip across South America, handling every detail with professionalism and care. They were incredibly reliable, responsive, and flexible, especially when it came to last-minute changes and unexpected situations. That level of support made the entire journey feel smooth and stress-free. If you’re looking for a travel partner that is dependable, attentive, and truly experienced, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. An outstanding experience overall.
I recommend this experience both for the itinerary, as well as for the operator and his guides. I am a travel agent and was in touch before, during and after the private tour to Sacred Valley. My clients were very happy with everything, even with the flexibility to start the tour when it came to their preference. Personally, and as a travel agent I recommend doing private tours as attention and personalization make a difference and the cost is competitive and fair.
We opted for 2 days private Cusco/Machu Picchu tour with upgraded hotel for our family. Best part of ability to customization of the plan and flexibility tour operator to tailored it to our need. We were flying into Cusco from 3 different airports and my son missed the connection to Cusco. Visit South America quickly worked on alternative private transfer to bring him to Machu Picchu with reasonable price and we felt Visit South America knows how to handle such unforeseen situation and get best out of it. Guide was amazing, suggestions they shared for our vegetarian food needs were perfect, minute details they carved called out and discussed were very useful. Visit South America knows what they are into and what their clients needs are.
My husband and I took 2 tours with VSA in 2025 after using our credit and rebooking our cancelled trip from 2020. The communication was straightforward but I noticed typical reply time was not prompt and sometimes delayed for several days. However, our tours were well led with our guide Guillermo. We were grateful for the wisdom he shared, especially his spiritual and cultural insights. Guillermo's relaxed and easy going attitude was a great pace for us and you could tell he was friendly and known in the community. Our Sacred Valley tour was customized based on our pick up and drop off and we enjoyed the rural areas and tourist destinations where we picked up gifts and souvenirs. This was one of our favourite areas to visit in Peru. There were many moments to learn and experience the Incan lifestyle from visiting ruins, seeing textiles, agriculture and food preparation, and mineral harvesting. Our day trip to Lake Humantay was a long drive out for a moderately difficult hike with nice views. I'm unsure if this is a must see if other hiking excursions are planned but it was a great way to experience the acclimatization in altitude. The breakfast and lunch spot was great and we enjoyed our buffet style meals. Lake Humantay was scenic and required moderate fitness level or tolerance to altitude.
We recently booked two tours with Visit South America – the Sacred Valley tour and the Salkantay Trek – and couldn’t be happier with our experience! From start to finish, the Visit South America team was incredibly helpful and provided support throughout our entire vacation in Peru. They partner with local tour operators who were knowledgeable, professional, and went out of their way to make our trip special. The Sacred Valley tour was full of breathtaking sights, and the Salkantay Trek was a challenging yet rewarding adventure that we’ll never forget. We would absolutely recommend Visit South America to our friends and anyone looking for a well-organized, unforgettable experience in Peru. They made our dream trip a reality!
Very informative and the guide took a lot of great pictures of us. We ate at an awesome buffet with many different options. Only downside is it was a long drive back/ wait because they had to pick up someone else.
Nice tour, well organized. Guillermo, our Guide, was nice and prepared (sometimes he could give a little more complete directions). Overall, we recommend it.
I recently used Visit South America Agency for a retreat I was holding in Peru, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Hilton, the owner, was instrumental in curating a dream retreat that perfectly matched my vision for exploring remote sacred sites. He worked with me for months, displaying endless patience, kindness, and a genuine desire to accommodate all my requests. His communication was excellent, keeping me informed every step of the way, both leading up to and during the retreat. During the retreat, we were accompanied by our personal guide, Guillermo, who was absolutely magnificent. His knowledge extended far beyond the historic aspects of the sites; he was also well-versed in the spiritual and sacred significance of the lands, which was crucial for me and my group. Guillermo’s attentiveness and understanding added immense value to our experience. Our driver, Fernando, was an absolute gem, ensuring that we felt safe and comfortable throughout our journey. The entire team at Visit South America Agency made sure that my group and I were well taken care of, which was incredibly important to me. I am truly grateful to Hilton, Guillermo, Fernando, and the whole team for their dedication and care. If you are planning a trip to Peru and want a tailored, secure, and enriching experience, I highly recommend Visit South America Agency. They surpassed all my expectations and helped create memories that will last a lifetime.
