Originariamente a Valencia c'erano 12 porte con cinta muraria nel quartiere della Città Vecchia, ma sfortunatamente 10 di queste sono state completamente distrutte nel XIX secolo. Rimangono solo 2 cancelli fino ad oggi. Una di queste è la Torres de Serranos, l'altra è la Torres de Quart.
Il Giardino del Turia è uno dei parchi urbani più grandi della Spagna. Attraversa la città per 9 chilometri. Il vecchio letto del fiume avrebbe dovuto diventare un'autostrada urbana dopo una devastante alluvione, ma la comunità di Valencia ha deciso di trasformare lo spazio vuoto in un'area verde e glamour.
Ricardo Bofill è stato uno degli architetti che hanno progettato il nuovo Parco del Turia dopo l'alluvione, inoltre è stato coinvolto nel processo di progettazione dell'edificio del Palau de la Música, che fu terminato nel 1987. Questo edificio è oggi la Sala da Concerti Valenciana.

La struttura del Palazzo delle Arti della Regina Sofia dovrebbe ricordare un elmo romano ed è stata progettata da Santiago Calatrava. Funziona come un teatro dell'opera, un centro per le arti dello spettacolo e un punto di riferimento urbano inaugurato nel 2005.
Il più grande acquario d'Europa progettato da Felix Candela. Uno dei delfinari più grandi del mondo, con il suo design architettonico all'avanguardia. In totale, ci sono oltre 45.000 animali di oltre 500 specie diverse. Ingresso a questo posto - 25,75 euro

L'Ágora è uno spazio coperto multifunzionale progettato da Santiago Calatrava. È uno spazio a pianta aperta. La capienza massima è di oltre 6000 posti a sedere. L'edificio ha un tetto in vetro lungo la sua spina dorsale e ha una struttura mobile per controllare la luce naturale dall'alto verso l'interno.

Organised. Good comprehensive tour of the main sights of Valencia. Easy riding mainly cycle paths Would recommend it.
Despite the hot weather, cycling through Valencia’s historic neighborhoods and past key landmarks, including the City of Arts and Science, was surprisingly refreshing. Feeling the breeze as we rode kept us cool, and it was such a fun way to experience the city. Markus was wonderful, sharing interesting insights and fun facts at every stop. The route also felt very safe and manageable, even for novice cyclists. A great way to explore Valencia!

This cycle tour lasting 2.5hrs was perfect. Marcus, our guide was exceptionally informative and helpful. As we are only here for 4days, it was a good way to decide what we wanted to focus on seeing. I very much recommend this tour. Ours started at 9.45am - so it wasn’t too hot.

I have done bike tours in most major European cities and this one is ranked pretty high on the list. Small group (got lucky) and our guide Daria made the experience very pleasant. She is definitely very knowledgeable about the stops and the pictures she showed were helpful as well. It was also nice for her to offer taking pictures of me since I am traveling solo. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get a good introduction to Valencia.

What a great morning- Daria took us around the old city then on to the park and Arts & Science centre. Her relaxed and friendly style was great as was her English. She was knowledgeable and interesting- hadn’t been on a bike for a while but the route was gentle & the pace not too fast.
