Le mattine in città sono affascinanti perché ti mostrano sempre l'aspetto più autentico di come vivono i suoi abitanti nella loro città natale. Avere un brunch locale chiamato almuerzo è un'attività sociale condivisa da quasi tutte le persone a Valencia. “Almorzar” è una tradizione gastronomica che definisce com'è Valencia e com'è la sua gente: un villaggio irriducibile, orgoglioso dei suoi localismi culinari! Questa usanza culturale unica viene spiegata più dettagliatamente dai nostri esperti locali durante questo tour. Se sei appena arrivato in città, questa è una perfetta introduzione alla gastronomia spagnola, agli elementi essenziali di Valencia e alla cultura locale. Più che un tour, vivremo un tour culturale, a piedi e gastronomico nella stessa esperienza. Alla fine dell'avventura, saprai esattamente perché la cultura "Esmorzaret Valenciano" al mattino non può esistere al di fuori di Valencia (quindi dovrai tornare!).

Una visita veloce e una deliziosa degustazione Mercat Central (Mercato Centrale) è un mercato pubblico situato di fronte alla Llotja de la Seda e alla chiesa dei Juanes nel centro di Valencia. È una delle opere principali dell'Art Nouveau valenciana. Il Mercato Centrale di Valencia è uno dei più grandi d'Europa; copre più di 8.000 metri quadrati (86.000 piedi quadrati), con uno stile Art Nouveau prevalentemente valenciano. Il suo tetto insolito comprende cupole originali e sezioni inclinate a diverse altezze, mentre l'interno sembra essere rivestito in una gamma di materiali come ferro, legno, ceramica e piastrelle policrome. La bellezza dell'edificio risalta soprattutto per la luce che entra dal tetto in vari punti e dai pannelli colorati delle finestre.
Passeremo attraverso una panetteria molto antica. La Borsa della Seta è un edificio civile in stile tardo gotico valenciano. Fu costruito tra il 1482 e il 1533.
Piazza della Regina. Il posto perfetto per provare l'horchata ecologico!
Piazza del Municipio. Avremo un aperitivo locale con abbinamento di bevande come fanno i locali.

Our guide Fatine was wonderful. Engaging, bright and very knowledgeable. She held everyone’s attention in a lovely way. Food stops were all different and tasty. We were a couple that joined a family of 8 and had a wonderful time sharing the day. Highly recommend! Ask for Fatine
If you ever consider breakfast or brunch do not hesitate, just walk in, do a walk exploring the wide range of Spanish culinary goodies and drinks, then walk back and try everything you possibly can. I myself tried 11 different items, and repeated goat and sheep cheeses, thin rolls of meats, sausages and fruits and fruits… peach sangria, pineapple juice, expresso coffee with farm milk.
It was great to explore the food of Valencia through the eyes of a local. There was a lot of walking though. Bring some water!
Andres was a wonderful tour guide. We sampled a large variety of local cuisine, and Andres told us the story of every dish. Very good variety.
Had a great night. Victor was our tour guide and knew a lot about the food, accompanying wines and a bit about the city. We had a nice group which made the Tour even more fun.
We were very excited to visit Valencia but were only in port for a few hours from a cruise. We decided on this tour since it was in the morning, and we'd be back to the ship in time. Our tour guide was Max. It was very easy to find him at the meeting point. We were the only ones on the tour so once we connected, we set off. He took us to 5 different spots. The first was a cafe where we had some orange juice, with some tomato spread on toast which was very good. Next, we went to a local place on the third floor of a building, where there were only locals. We had some delicious sandwiches as well as a local beer. Next we went down the sweet route with some coconut sweets followed by churros and some chocolate to dip it in. Both were absolutely delicious. Lastly, we went to the market where we had some tapas and another drink followed by some horchata to finish it off. Max was a great guide teaching us about the city and its history. He also told us more about him which was great and made the tour felt more personal. I cannot recommend this tour enough and if you take it, hopefully you get Max as he was a great guide.

This wonderful tour really highlighted the incredible food culture and lovely old town of Valencia. The tour was well-paced, our guide Victor had a great vibe and was super knowledgeable and we simply could not have enjoyed it more. 11 out of 10!
We had a great tour with Andrea. The food was delicious and there was so much of it! There is a great way to get an initial introduction to the city, the culture, and of course the food. Highly recommended!
Amazing experience - tried a variety of food, and got to see parts of Valencia we had not seen. Andrea was a consummate host and gave us some excellent tips for the rest of our stay. Would highly recommend to all wishing to experience the real Valencia!
