In questo tour sperimenterai la grandezza della civiltà Maya mentre ti trovi nei siti archeologici più importanti di El Salvador, San Andres e Tazumal. Allo stesso tempo avrai un legame con la natura entrando nel Parco Nazionale del Cerro Verde. Il sabato e la domenica abbiamo la possibilità di visitare il patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO Joya de Ceren, conosciuta come la Pompei delle Americhe.

Visitando il Parco Nazionale del Cerro Verde, faremo una passeggiata di circa 45 minuti, dove godremo un clima piacevole, aria fresca e viste mozzafiato sui vulcani di Santa Ana, Izalco e il lago Coatepeque
Tazumal, uno dei siti archeologici più importanti del paese, composto da 13 strutture, una delle quali è una piramide alta 24 metri
Il Parco Archeologico di San Andrés è uno dei più grandi centri preispanici in El Salvador e avrebbe costituito una capitale regionale tra il 600 e il 900 d.C. nel tardo periodo classico, periodo di apogeo della civiltà Maya.

Definitely worth seeing if you’re in the area. Safe and comfortable ride to the sites. The lunch stop was great. Driver/guide was full of useful information.

This tour was a wonderful experience. My guide Gerson was absolutely amazing. He is so knowledgeable and shared the history and culture in an engaging way. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in history or archaeology.
We did two different tours with this tour company. One was a city tour and Boqueron plus the Mayan sites. These were basically private tours and our guide Gerson was very knowledgeable, accommodating and organized. These would have been much harder to do alone and we would have missed so much information. The day was well planned, moved at a good pace and time to stop and recharge for food. They picked us up directly at our hotel and followed the itinerary. Would strongly recommend and shout out to Gerson for a great time!

Alfredo Diaz left a lasting impression on the fantastic culture of El Salvador, as well as giving us an appreciation for the history of the country and the legacy left behind by the Mayan culture. This trip truly shows you the beauty of the area with scenic routes, picturesque walks, and there is plenty of time to rest and souvenir shop. The food was amazing, the engagement during the tour was fantastic, and if you only spend one day in San Salvador, you should do this tour.
