Our guide Karina was very friendly and informative! The food was great and she knew a lot.
Had a wonderful time. Masa was knowledgeable and kind
We didn’t have anyone else in the group so private tour! Flexible to buy which things you want, one person doesn’t eat fish so tour guide found her alternatives like mochi! Super nice great conversation. Even stood in line for us while we shopped to get us good snacks. Nice local experience for lunch. Worth it!
The Tsuji food tour was a delight with Masa my tour guide. Luckily I had a private tour because I was alone. After meeting him in front of the temple he explained the history of the temple and we made a quick visit. Then we visited the robust Tsukiji fish and food market. As we walked around, we sampled food from the vendors as he explained the variety of displays. It was fun tasting the variety of delicious foods, that I purchased some along the way. We also visited a knife and kitchenware store that had a variety of items that I could not buy in the USA; so I purchased an authentic Japanese Santoku knife and other kitchenware. While in the Tsukiji market area, we ended with a nice fresh fish rice bowl for lunch. We also visited another shrine and a lookout in a tall bldg with a view of Tokyo. I would totally recommend this tour for anyone who is interested in tasting fresh Japanese fish and other authentic foods. You can get an idea of what foods you ate in case you would like to return for more or to try others. It was a great introduction to many Japanese foods with a very kind and knowledgeable tour guide. I would go again. Thank you Masa.
Guide was friendly, enthusiastic and knowlegable. Guide provided history of temple and shrine and market. We had samples of daifuku and unagi sticks- both delicious. All were satisfied with our sashimi lunches.
My husband and I met Masa, our tour guide and spent a delightful morning with him. We were the only ones on the tour and it was very personalised. Masa was very informative and guided us well ending in a lovely lunch in a little restaurant we would never have known was there. Thank you Masa.
We started on time, it was just my husband and I so it felt like a private tour. Yuka took us to the Tsukiji Temple and then to the fish market. Fish market was busy and it had so many options of types of food to try. Yuka made us try multiple types of snacks and made recommendations of other things we could try later on. Then we had a sit down lunch and we ate a rice bowl with different types of fresh fish in it. We had interesting conversations about how japanese people live in the city and we exchanged similarities and differences between our cultures. Yuka was very nice and we enjoyed our tour very much.
I joined the Tsukiji Fish Market Culture Walking and Food Tour, and it turned out I was the only guest that day. My guide, Inoki, did an excellent job showing me around. I tried delicious foods like tuna on a skewer, eel, and more, followed by a tasty lunch. We also visited the beautiful Tsukiji Hongan-ji Temple, explored local shops, and learned a lot about the market’s history. At the end of the tour, Inoki took me to an observation tower with a great view of Tokyo and shared the story of how the market was relocated. It was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this tour. Thank you, Inoki!

INok and his team are simply amazing! In fact, we loved our first tour with iNok so much that we booked a second tour two days later! His tour not only provides the great information on the sites we saw, but he also helped guide us for other experiences we were interested in while in Japan. He went way above and beyond to make the experience so personalized—even for my two teenagers. He really customized the tour based on what they were interested in. I would HIGHLY recommend him and his tour company!
