Troodos Mountains Vino Venture: Tour del vino di un'intera giornata

A really excellent and well planned day out! All 3 wineries were excellent, as was the tour and lunch in Omodos, and our guide Maria was brilliant!

A wonderful wine tasting tour in the Troodos Mountains. Maria was the best tour guide one could imagine and made the tour an unforgettable experience. One learned a lot about Cyprus and saw beautiful landscapes.

This is an excellent, well manged trip. The tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining and the wines delicious. The lunch was lovely at a local Taverna

Truly a excellent tour. Nice guides that was informative and personalized. We were 3 couples and we lucked out with the fantastic company since it's a small group. We had funny discussions and good mix of nationalities. Service was door to door and fair pick up and drop off time so all of us had same travel time. The lunch was superb. Plenty of table wine was served and quality as expected. The tour gave a good insight in the reasons of the limited amount of production of wines. We visited 3 wineries with more modern generations wine styles but also the older generations. Good mix. Had a nice walking time around a village where we could choose private time or walking with the guide. All of us chose walking with the guide. If being very critical it would be that it could be even a bigger diversity in wine styles. If there a more diversity in the usage of oak. It seems like Cypriotic quality wines that they showcased were all heavy on the new french oak. It would be more interesting if there were any new generations producer. It was still very good tour and gives a good insight of wines from this part of the world. If you have the time I highly recommend this tour. From we left and til we got back it was a 11h trip for us.

Absolutely brilliant tour. Small group. 6 plus tour guide/driver (Helena and Mamas). Friendly and efficient. A very well organised trip. 3 wineries 🍷. All very different, but with a common theme, being passionate about their wines. We visited two wineries before lunch, stopped for an amazing local meze, with wine and water also included. I am coeliac (gf), and Helena not only checked each dish, but also came with gf bread, which was greatly appreciated. We then went on to our final winery. A wonderful day out and we sampled about 18 different wines. The stories behind many of these wines, along with the stories of the individuals and their families, installed faith in humanity, and what can be achieved, when remaining humble but driven to succeed. We really enjoyed the tour. Our guide Hellen was really nice and kind. Took the time to tell us everything including her own story. Really recommend the wine tour to everyone (except kids, because of the alcohol😂). Thank you again!

We had a wonderful day with Demi, learned a lot about wine, the region and had some very nice and interesting wine tastings. The lunch was also delicious. We can absolutely recommend this tour and Demi and the wineries let us feel very welcome.

Incredible wine tasting full day experience, thank-you Cyprus Taste Tours and tour guide, Demi. As part of the trip we got to experience three different wineries in the Troodos Mountains, and an amazing Cypriot lunch at a local tavern. The food really was next level and the samples of circa 20x wines were both enjoyable and delicious. The information provided by the local wine makers was interesting too and to-the-point, which I like. Opportunity to purchase the local wines you try was there, but no pressure to do so applied. All round, highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience with Cyprus Taste Tours, starting with excellent communication from the moment we booked. We were picked up in Protaras in a comfortable, air-conditioned minibus, which made the journey so pleasant. Our driver, Mimos, and guide, Georgina, were both incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the day. They made the tour feel relaxed, informative, and fun. We visited three beautiful wineries, each offering a unique experience with delicious, high-quality wines that were all reasonably priced. The hosts at each location were welcoming and passionate about their craft. Lunch was another highlight – a generous spread of local dishes and products that gave us a true taste of Cyprus. Overall, it was an excellent day filled with amazing wine, food, and company. I would highly recommend Cyprus Taste Tours to anyone looking to explore the island’s wine culture in comfort and good company.
