Itinerario
Per prima cosa, visiteremo il Centro culturale e del patrimonio di Derynia per assistere a un cortometraggio che espone Famagosta prima dell'invasione. Poi saliamo sul tetto del centro per osservare da vicino Famagosta oltre il confine (binocolo fornito). Puoi prendere un caffè o acquistare bevande nel centro.
Cominciamo vedendo Famagosta come lo vediamo oggi; una città fantasma abbandonata. Dopo aver attraversato il confine, percorreremo la recinzione che circonda questa città un tempo affascinante, prima di arrivare sulla sua rinomata spiaggia sabbiosa dove vediamo gli hotel deserti da vicino lungo la costa. Continuiamo poi girando attorno al fossato della città gotica dove le mura del castello ci sovrastano e finalmente entriamo e visitiamo la città all'interno delle mura, dove 365 chiese e cattedrali testimoniano secoli di storia passata. Il tempo libero sarà dato per passeggiare per la città per esplorare le cose ulteriormente o sedersi e godersi un caffè e i loro famosi dolci.
Passeggia per la strada degli hotel abbandonati senza tempo e le proprietà e le vetrine dei negozi un tempo di prestigio fino alla spiaggia di sabbia dorata e ritorno

Pick up was on time and everything was a described. The whole occupation has a lot of parts and details and it might have been helpful with a written time line about what happened when. I had so many questions. George could have had a clearer narrative about what happened when and why. All his jokes was kind of confusing-it is sufficient to just be nice and competent.

Absolutely worth the money to hire the buggy with driver. Takes you around and explains everything from 1974. Whether you live here or holiday, you have to do this tour. It is eye-opening. It is like a massive filmset.
