Inizieremo il nostro tour guidando attraverso le colline della Giudea fino a Betlemme. All'arrivo attraverseremo la città e vedremo le attrazioni più importanti prima di arrivare a Piazza della Mangiatoia. Lì faremo una visita guidata alla Chiesa della Natività dove Gesù nacque in una grotta sotterranea su cui fu costruita la chiesa. Poi faremo una breve passeggiata con la guida alla Chiesa della Grotta del Latte. Al termine andremo alla città di Beit Sahour, la città dei pastori. Lì faremo una visita guidata alla Cappella del Campo dei Pastori. Continuando il nostro tour visiteremo di 25 minuti una fabbrica di legno d'ulivo e un negozio cooperativo. Infine visiteremo una delle città più uniche al mondo per storia e geografia, Gerico. Visiteremo i siti biblici e storici più importanti della città, nonché il fiume Giordano. *Assicurati di portare con te il passaporto *È necessario cambiare veicolo. Una visita guidata completa alla Chiesa della Natività. La Chiesa è una delle più antiche chiese di lavoro esistenti oggi. La prima chiesa fu costruita dall'imperatore romano Costantino nel IV secolo d.C., sopra la grotta in cui Maria diede alla luce Gesù. La chiesa si trova dove Gesù nacque a Betlemme.
La chiesa di Santa Caterina è un monastero francescano. Si dice che sia stato costruito sul sito dell'apparizione di Cristo a Santa Caterina d'Alessandria e sulla sua previsione del suo martirio all'inizio del IV secolo.
La chiesa della grotta del latte è il luogo in cui la Sacra Famiglia trovò rifugio durante il massacro degli innocenti, prima che potessero fuggire in Egitto. Il nome deriva dalla storia secondo cui una "goccia di latte" della Vergine Maria cadde sul pavimento della grotta e cambiò colore in bianco.

La Grotta di Girolamo si trova in realtà sotto la Chiesa di Santa Caterina, e da lì si può accedere anche. San Girolamo, sacerdote dalmata (345-420 d.C.), tradusse gran parte dell'Antico Testamento dall'ebraico e dal greco al latino "Vulgata".
L'Ordine della Beata Vergine Maria del Monte Carmelo non ha un unico fondatore, ma è stato fondato da un gruppo di eremiti che vivevano vicino alla “Primavera di Elia” sul Monte Carmelo, con due radici della loro spiritualità: il Profeta Elia e la Vergine Maria. All'inizio del XIII secolo gli eremiti ricevettero una regola di vita, scritta da sant'Alberto, patriarca di Gerusalemme.

Aida, anche scritto 'Ayda, è un campo profughi palestinese situato 2 chilometri a nord del centro storico di Betlemme e 1 km a nord di Beit Jala.
Bab idDeir Art Gallery è uno spazio artistico e culturale indipendente a Betlemme, situato nei quartieri Deik, parte della storica città vecchia di Betlemme.
Deir Hajla o Deir Hijleh è il nome arabo del monastero greco-ortodosso di San Gerasimus. Si trova nel Governatorato di Gerico in Cisgiordania, a ovest del fiume Giordano ea nord del Mar Morto.
In quel Vangelo sentiamo di Gesù che passa per Gerico. Zaccheo visse lì, ed era “un capo pubblicano e ricco”. Stava “cercando di vedere chi era Gesù” ma era basso, così si arrampicò “su un sicomoro” per vederlo mentre passava. Gesù si ferma e lo chiama a scendere e si invita a cena a casa di Zaccheo - con sgomento dei gericoni - e il pubblicano si converte sul posto.
Hisham's Palace è un importante sito archeologico islamico della dinastia degli Omayyadi della prima metà dell'VIII secolo, uno dei cosiddetti castelli del deserto degli Omayyadi. Si trova a Khirbat al-Mafjar, 5 km a nord della città di Jericho, in Cisgiordania.
Il Monte della Tentazione si trova a circa 3 km a nord-ovest di Gerico, che è a circa 58 km a est di Gerusalemme, in Israele. La montagna si trova nel deserto della Giudea e si affaccia sulla valle del Giordano. Dopo essere stato battezzato da Giovanni Battista Gesù si ritirò nel deserto per meditare e digiunare, questa montagna su cui si crede che Gesù abbia trascorso i 40 giorni e le 40 notti di contemplazione spirituale. Tell es-Sultan noto anche come Tel Jericho o Ancient Jericho, è il sito dell'antico e biblico Jericho e oggi un sito archeologico nominato dall'UNESCO in Cisgiordania, situato a due chilometri a nord del centro di Gerico
Nel museo sono esposti resti archeologici, tra cui una ricchezza di splendidi mosaici di epoca bizantina. Un'ala del museo è dedicata alla storia della comunità samaritana, alla sua storia e ai suoi costumi.

A very good good tour. Monday was a slow day, so not a lot of people. Tour guys were really informative. Importante to bring cash for Jericho entrances. I recommend.
Certainly Bethelem is worth a whole day of visit, but if you need to save time, this excursion going also to Jericó and Jordan river is very convenient. It´s possible to feel a bit of the desert during the trip and the palestinian side of Israel. My tour didn´t go to the cable car and the monastry inJerico. They replaced it with the mosaic Al Hashim, which is magnificent and I really support this change.
We REALLY enjoyed this opportunity to safely see some of the renowned sites within the West Bank. Bethlehem was an absolute highlight! As was our first guide, Elias. He was wonderfully informative and engaging... but best of all, he was HILARIOUS. He could be a stand-up comedian, I kid you not. His comedic timing was impeccable and that helped to keep our daughters -- ages 11 and 13 -- absolutely enthralled with his recounting of historic, religious history. The afternoon at the Jordan River and Jericho were also good, as was the guide.. But it's the morning session that convinced us this was an excellent investment. The ONLY disappointment: This tour suggested a brief stop at (or at least drive by of) a Palestinian refugee camp... that did not happen. Not sure if it was due to timing or what, but I had personally hoped for that part of the tour, as well, to help round out the "balance" of our overall experience. Overall, I still highly recommend this tour!
very nice trip. we had a guide also for the second part (Jerico and Giordano) even if it was not included in the tour. Second guide, by the way, excellent!!!
The birthplace of Jesus was very beautiful and the holiest place in the world the church is very big and attractive the tour guide was very funny and brilliant he explained everything about the church and all the holy places in Bethlehem he makes our visit unforgettable Thank you.

This was one of the best experiences we had on our trip. We absolutely loved the different tour guides we worked with and the knowledge and experiences that they shared with us. I was a little worried seeing the itinerary that it would be too many churches that would all blend together and bore my young kids, but each one was very different and had so many different stories to share. One slight problem - when booking, I was mostly concerned with avoiding activities on Shabbat that would be closed to us but I didn't think about the fact that all of these churches would have services on Sundays that would make it difficult to see them. Toward the beginning of the day it worked out in our favor because we had extra time to squeeze in a few other sights that normally weren't included on the tour. But we ended up having a very long wait at the Nativity Church to wait until the services concluded and the other people in the church kept getting annoyed at us waiting there. On the other hand, our guides were on top of it and made sure we were among the first in line, while other groups had a significantly longer wait. I think one of the best things about the tour though was that I not only got to learn fascinating facts about the rich history (my mind can't even comprehend the thousands of years of people that all were in that area) but also a lot about the modern problems and the different opinions of different local people depending on which side of the wall they live. It put so much into perspective for me.

The tour guides were very knowledgable and were very kind people. Felt always safe and in competent hands which was very important to me. The guides were eager to answer every question that arised and looked on the issues of the visited area with a refreshingly neutral view.
