Trasferimento a PR9 - Levada do Caldeirão Verde

Fabio was our guide for 3 transfer trips with Levadas In and Out and was fantastic. Communication via WhatsApp the night before included all the details needed for the next day. Pick up was bang on time. Fabio’s information about the trails before setting off was great and he was right on time to pick us up again after. He shared lots of helpful information about other sites we were visiting later in our trip too when asked. Would recommend the company to anyone who wants to avoid the hassle of car hire and finding parking for popular trails - especially if you get Fabio!

Had a great trip - our driver Flávio was super attentive, funny and shared a lot of historical & cultural aspects of the island that made the trip memorable. The hike itself is interesting & long along a lush mountain, suitable for a sunny & scotching day

This was one my most favorite Madeira experiences - a beautiful hike through a green emerald canopy, lots of water (l’évadas) and some adventurous tunnels ✨ Particularly loved the arrangement, Fabio was an excellent driver and a guide and made sure we got all the information, well before time. He made the hike super easy to follow and made sure our group was well taken care of at all times 🙏 thank you Fabio!

A magnificent hike in lush nature that is very accessible! With the tunnels to cross by the light of a flashlight, it is an unforgettable experience! Remember to wear good shoes because the tunnels are very damp. The downside: very poor organization. The main parking lot was not accessible (even though it was not full). We had to park 3 km from the trailhead... all with a very, very intense elevation gain. So we started the "real" hike already exhausted. Why book a time slot and pay 4.50e per person if there are already too many people?

Everything well organized and the driver and guide were very competent.

We had Flávio who was a really relaxed and fun driver! My parents and I really enjoyed this hike. Simply stunning and feasible hike. We struggled a bit with the pick up time though. Probably was a combination of taking pics and waiting for others to pass you as some parts were narrow. Other than that - Any time with this provider. 😊

Our experience with Levadas In and Out was impeccable due to Flávio, our driver. He gave us all the information we needed in advance, arrived early and gave us plenty of time to enjoy the walk. Flávio shared so much interesting information to and from the walk, we learned so much of the history and walks in Madeira (plus some great poncha recommendations). The walk itself was both beautiful and exciting--a highlight of our trip. Can't recommend the walk and Levadas In and Out enough!

An amazing hike,views and experience! Despiste of the rain It was beatiful too.And this is Madeira,so the weather changes all the time,so we had rain, a little bit of cold,windy,fog,sun....That's what makes the places so special. This hike is "a must". André made our journey fun and told us a lot of facts of Madeira and the language.He was very nice and made it easy to feel confortable.
