VipDolphins Luxury Whale Watching

We were meet by the 3 person crew who were very friendly and informative. They looked after us the whole time offering drinks and snacks ,giving us information on the area and the dolphins and whales . We were lucky as we saw dolphins which was amazing as they came up close to the catamaran. We got some good photos. The catamaran was extremely clean and tidy and only have 17 people onboard made it feel very personal and special. We will never forget the day thank you.

It was a great experience! Seen 2 different species of dolphins and also spotted whales. The crew of the boat was very friendly and enthusiastic whenever we saw a dolphin or whale. They knew a lot about it. Furthermore, the snacks and drinks were well taken care of! Fortunately, there was a maximum of people allowed on the catamaran so that everyone had enough space to enjoy the dolphins and whales. All in all highly recommended!❤️🐬

Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! The service on board was perfect, the boat was luxurious, and our hosts were incredibly lovely and thoughtful. We booked the sunset cruise, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We enjoyed stunning views along the coast, saw dolphins and even a whale, had a refreshing swim in the ocean, and finished the evening watching a beautiful sunset from the boat. What we appreciated most was how uncrowded the experience felt compared with many of the other boats. Each group had plenty of space to relax and enjoy the experience without feeling packed in. I may be repeating myself, but for us, it truly was the perfect evening after an eventful day. Relaxing, beautiful, and very special. The name VIP Dolphin really lives up to its name — an experience we would happily recommend and definitely repeat! Thank you for the experience! Greetings from Luxembourg !

A fantastic experience! Everyone's wishes were well taken into account and the service of the Italian ladies was fantastic. The welfare of the animals was taken into account and we were able to see a lot of them. Tasty snacks and drinks on board. Lovely swimming next to the beautiful cliff and with sunset back. It was not crowded at all with 17 men on such a large boat. I would recommend it to anyone it is really value for money and everything has been thought about!

Perfect, from the moment we boarded the Catamaran. The crew were extremely hospitable, making sure we were well looked after and enjoying the experience. The crew also knew where to go to see the whales and dolphins, and their knowledge of the area meant success. The snacks and drinks added to the enjoyment, as did the swimming directly from the back of the boat and beautiful sunset. There are many choices for this type of trip, we wanted a luxurious boat, kind and experienced crew and to escape the crowded boats with something more intimate. My research brought me to VIP dolphins, and we made the right choice in booking this excursion.

Highly recommended tour. The guest was lovingly taken care of. On the yacht, the life of the dolphins/the fishermen was told. Simply great. Also because this tour is not overcrowded with masses

The VIP Dolphin and Whale tour made for an incredible welcome to Madeira. We booked for our first night after landing from the US. We saw a Bryde’s whale and a ton of dolphin and got to swim in the ocean, all of which helped energize us and fight jet lag. The boat is really nice and very comfortable. It’s awesome to go with a small group and have space to spread out. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They even took pictures during the event and shared after, so we have a keepsake from the excursion.

If you want to escape the masses, you don't want to get seasick, you don't want to chase one group of dolphins with twenty boats: here you are! This is luxurious, quiet, fine sailing and respectful of the animals. The engine shut down as soon as we got close and we enjoyed a group of pilot whales in peace. One day you see more than the next day, that's nature.

10/10 experience! Got to see pods of dolphins with their babies. Had awesome snacks and drinks! Fun attentive staff and an awesome captain. Really enjoyed this tour being small group, the other catamarans pack people on like sardines. If you’re booking a dolphin catamaran this is the one. Brought us to an awesome swimming spot, then sailed away from the sunset.

We loved this, it was definitely a highlight of our visit to Madeira. We had so much space to ourselves (Grandmother, Mother and two daughters), even though there were several other people on the boat. The hospitality was perfect as everything we needed was provided, from delicious snacks and drinks to towels and even the offer of a room onboard to get changed in after a swim in the sea. It was really magical to be up close to the family of Pilot Whales gliding alongside us. Thank you to the captain and crew for a wonderful memory from our holiday.
