È la più antica chiesa cattolica romana funzionante in Malesia • Le attrazioni storiche di Malacca sono la Chiesa di San Paolo, la chiesa più antica del sud-est asiatico, un tempo chiesa per i portoghesi e poi cimitero durante l'occupazione olandese. • La vicina Porta de Santiago fu costruita un tempo dai portoghesi come fortezza per proteggersi dagli attacchi degli olandesi. Non è rimasto molto dopo diverse guerre, ma l'ingresso è ancora in piedi e al suo posto. • Il governatore olandese fece costruire la Stadthuys (piazza olandese), un bell'edificio con evidenti tratti olandesi. • Christ Church, in cui si riconosce più chiaramente l'architettura olandese dell'epoca. • Jonker Street è il centro artistico di Malacca. Qui troverai un gran numero di gallerie d'arte, negozi di antiquariato e negozi dove puoi acquistare vari ornamenti.

Passa dal Melaka Museum (sosta per foto al Museo marittimo, Museo delle dogane reali malesi, Museo di storia ed etnografia di Stadthuys/Melaka) e cammina lungo la Piazza olandese/rossa (la Christ Church è chiusa ogni lunedì)
Visita la chiesa di San Paolo e la collina di San Paolo
Jonker Street ~ molti dei quali sono negozi che vendono oggetti d'antiquariato, tessuti, cibo, artigianato e souvenir come portachiavi e camicie
Tempio di Cheng Hoon Teng chiamato anche Tempio della Nuvola Verde. è un tempio cinese che pratica i tre sistemi dottrinali di buddismo, confucianesimo e taoismo. È il tempio funzionante più antico del paese.
Passeggia lungo il fiume Melaka. Il fiume Melaka era una rotta commerciale vitale durante il periodo di massimo splendore del Sultanato di Malacca nel XV secolo.

We had a really interesting day with Ramesh. He was friendly (even putting up with us watching the soccer on the drive) and knowledgeable about Malacca and also Malaysia in general. He even adapted the tour to change lunch venues when we said we wanted to have Laksa for a meal - he even explained the difference between Malacca laksa and Penang laksa but, in his diplomatic style, ended the discussion with 'it is all Baba Nonya food'. We learnt a lot about Malacca's history and even survived the heat. The drive back wasn't even that bad! Thanks!

Awesome historical tour exploring Malacca. Chandran was a great guide with a wealth of knowledge and was with the group the entire day explaining each site significance, stopping for fotos, and making sure safety was key. Lunch was enjoyable with Malaysian cuisine . Bus was clean and our driver David drove safely and kept to times
I've been to 19 different counties and this tour operator was truly one of the worse tour guides i have ever come across. Vera was obviously forced to be there based on his body language, the way he talked, walked and acted throughout the trip. Usually small things like saying hello when first meeting a person and bye when leaving are common courtesy but not with this man. oviding water is as well now days but Firstly our 10 hour tour lasted 7 hours. He rushed us from place to place, never gave us an opportunity to take photos anywhere and most of the time was rushing ahead of us and seemed annoyed when we actually wanted to take a photo. Other tour operators ask us if we want our photos taken but this guide not even once thought about taking our photos let alone telling us places to take good photos. He barely talked throughout the trip and didn't know much about the history of Malacca which was our destination and when he did talk, i could barely understand him due to thus thick accent. To top this disappointing tour, besides the water not provided which was a first for me when going on tour but our promised local meal was turned into a Thai restaurant which isnt halal although my my name is a Muslim name and my mum who was in the tour wears a scarf. No back up options, no research and planning before hand and then when i asked for a local Turkish restaurant, he says it will be over our budget and takes us to Maccas. This is the worst tour of my 4 country Asian tour and i wouldn't recommend particular tour to anyone.

Guide Ahmed has guided us really super nice this day. Everything was on time at the hotel and good communication. During the car ride Ahmed told about the history is of Malacca, once he arrived he told us even more and guided the tour around the fortress. There was room for taking pictures he really took the time for us. Thank you Ahmed for this nice day

My mother and I visted Malacca. From our pick up time, the tour guide - Nelson, was very helpful and polite. Throughout our journey, the bus driver was also very good. Nelson was such an insightful tour guide, sharing his knowledge of Malacca and rich historical facts about the places we visited. We had a blast!
