Tsaghkadzor è un'accogliente città nella provincia di Kotayk in Armenia, una famosa località sciistica e climatica, che tradotta dall'armeno significa "Gola dei fiori". Già nel V secolo a.C. divenne consapevole delle proprietà curative del clima locale. E la natura qui è indescrivibile! Qui vedrai montagne, cime innevate, fiumi rapidi, ripide scogliere, pittoresche vallate ricoperte di tappeti fioriti, fitte foreste e sorgenti medicinali, tra cui i famosi Arjahpyuru e Ttujur. A Tsakhkadzor troverai tutte le condizioni per un buon riposo e sport. Ci sono molti campi per bambini, case di riposo. È stato anche costruito il principale complesso sportivo del paese, che ha portato la fama internazionale di Tsakhkadzor. A Tsakhkadzor Puoi salire sulla funivia e goderti la splendida vista del luminoso blu Sevan, Greater e Lesser Ararat.
Il complesso monastico Kecharis fu eretto nell'XI secolo a Tsakhkadzor. Nei secoli XII-XIII, Kecharis era considerato un importante centro di culto dell'Armenia, che aveva una scuola superiore. Il complesso è composto da tre chiese, due cappelle e un portico, ad ovest del quale, un'altra chiesa con relativo portico. Il tempio principale è la chiesa di San Gregorio, il primo edificio del monastero eretto da Grigor Magistros Pahlavuni nel 1003. La chiesa Surb Nshan è una piccola struttura eretta nell'XI secolo, probabilmente subito dopo la prima chiesa. A sud di questa chiesa si trova la chiesa di Katogike, costruita all'epoca del principe Vasak Khakhpakyan o Proshyan (primo quarto del XIII secolo) dall'architetto Vetzik, in memoria del quale furono allestite le originali incisioni su pietra a croce . La cappella adiacente alla chiesa di San Gregorio fungeva da tomba del fondatore del monastero di Grigor Magistros Pahlavuni, datato XI secolo.
Il lago di montagna Sevan è la "perla dell'Armenia". Lago Sevan - situato a un'altitudine di 1.900 m sul livello del mare, nel centro dell'altopiano armeno, a 63 km a nord-est della capitale armena della città di Yerevan ed è il più grande dei laghi del Caucaso. La magnifica natura e gli antichi monasteri rendono Dilijan uno dei luoghi più emozionanti in cui viaggiare. Qui farai un tour a piedi unico di Dilijan e visiterai la città vecchia di Dilijan.
Il lago Parz è bellissimo in ogni periodo dell'anno. In estate qui potrete riposarvi dal caldo, grazie alle correnti fredde e ai fitti alberi che circondano il lago. Il Lago Parz è famoso per il suo aspetto: la superficie a specchio riflette appieno i colori del bosco circostante; in estate e primavera - sfumature di verde, in autunno - rosso e oro, e in inverno nevoso - una bellezza speciale in blu e bianco.
L'ultima destinazione di questo viaggio sarà il monastero di Haghartsin, risalente al X-XIV secolo. Il nome è tradotto come "il gioco dell'aquila". Lo scenario è in qualche modo simile a un'opera d'arte straordinaria, con il monastero e la natura che lo circonda che offrono una vista mozzafiato. È uno di quei posti in Armenia che sembra un set cinematografico irreale e mozzafiato.

We really enjoyed our tour with Nina and Tigran. Nina was an outstanding and wonderful guide - so knowledgeable, engaging and easy to listen to (we could listen to her for hours!). Tigran was an excellent driver, always attentive and thoughtful, even opening the door for us each time. Both of them were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Nina always checked in to see if we wanted to spend more time at different stops. They made the whole experience comfortable and memorable. We went to some amazing places like Lake Sevan, Dilijan, Tzgahakadzor, Lake Parz - we wouldn’t have been able to have had the same experience without Nina’s stories and Tigran’s skilled driving. Very nice tour outside Yerevan. 1 day between lake, mountain and forest. All sites are worth a visit except maybe Parz Lake if you haven’t scheduled time for boating or hiking in the forest and you don’t have children. Great lunch by Lake Sevan in a typical local restaurant.
This has to be the best single-day travel experience I have ever had. Nothing else comes close. I have never seen such an absurd number of beautiful places back-to-back in a single day. All the sights were simply breathtaking. I initially thought the comments online calling Dilijan the "Switzerland of Armenia" would end up feeling like a stretch of the truth, so much so that I was fully prepared to be let down, but I was pleasantly surprised just how beautiful this part of Armenia is. I couldn't take my eyes off the scenery as we drove through the region. It was all truly majestic. The descent from the top of the ropeway was also a scene to behold. What I was seeing with my own eyes just seemed surreal, as if I had been transported to another world. Yes, this may sound like hyperbole, but it is simply because I have no other way of describing just how truly incredible the sheer beauty on display was. Moving on to the tour itself, I honestly cannot imagine how it could have been any better. Our driver, Tigran, was phenomenal. He was very friendly and funny, not just during the first couple of hours of the tour, but throughout its entirety. I sincerely hope Jan Armenia is paying this man what he deserves. Most notably, he was patient with us the entire time. The tour we had gone on prior to this one was also good, but everything felt a bit rushed. This was not the cased with Tigran. There were two locations we were so in love with that we ended up spending more time than what had been recommended. Not once did Tigran complain or try to drive faster to compensate. We actually ended up exceeding our so-called "9-hour" tour. Tigran also recommended a great restaurant in Dilijan for dinner. The food we had there was easily one of the top three best meals we have ever had. Near the end of the tour, the tour operator also reached out personally to see if we were satisfied with everything, which I felt was a nice touch. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend visiting all the included locations and doing so with Jan Armenia, in general, and Tigran, in particular.

We had a great time on this trip. The views were amazing. Our guide Ruben was very friendly and accommodating. We got a brand new BYD car for the trip and our ride was so smooth. We had so much fun.
The snow caped hills of Tsaghkadzor and The Sevanvak in Sevan Lake was just truly amazing. The whole trip was just awesome and special shoutout to our guide Tigran for managing to get to all places and in helping us choose souvenirs to take back home.
