Iniziamo il nostro viaggio sulla famosa "Via Rosa" e poi saliamo a Largo del grande poeta portoghese Camões, dove possiamo sentire la vita del centro di Lisbona in Largo do Carmo. Osserviamo la Chiesa di São Roque e saliamo per vedere Lisbona attraverso il belvedere di São Pedro de Âlcantara. Continuiamo il tour attraverso il Bairro Alto, uno dei quartieri tipici di Lisbona. Ci siamo fermati ad osservare la magnifica Basilica da Estrela, costruita sulla sommità di una collina. Concludiamo con una visita al Jardim da Estrela, uno dei preferiti di Lisbona. Ufficialmente è conosciuta come Rua Nova do Carvalho, ma il nome Rua Cor de Rosa è emerso dopo un progetto di intervento urbano nel 2011.
In questo punto del nostro tour, passeremo attraverso l'iconico Largo do Carmo, dove la storia di Lisbona prende vita. Qui, la nostra guida condividerà storie affascinanti sul Convento del Carmo, uno dei monumenti più emblematici della città, fondato nel XIV secolo.
La Chiesa di São Roque è una chiesa cattolica di Lisbona, dedicata a São Roque e costruita alla fine del XVI secolo, con la collaborazione di Afonso Álvares e Bartolomeu Álvares. Passando da questa chiesa la nostra guida svelerà tutti i suoi segreti.
A questo punto della nostra passeggiata, ci fermiamo nello splendido Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara, uno dei miradouri più iconici di Lisbona. Situato in uno dei punti più alti della città, questo miraggio offre una vista panoramica mozzafiato sulla Baixa, il Castello di San Giorgio e la Cattedrale della Sede.
Arrivando alla maestosa Basilica della Stella, preparatevi ad essere coinvolti dalla sua bellezza neoclassica e dalla storia affascinante che la circonda. Questa iconica chiesa, inaugurata alla fine del XVIII secolo, fu costruita in omaggio alla Regina Maria I, che fece un voto di ringraziamento per la nascita di suo figlio.

We made a TukTuk tour of Lisbon with Hugo and we simply couldn’t have been more satisfied! From the first minute, Hugo was super friendly, attentive and full of good disposition. It took us through corners of the city that we would hardly discover on our own, always with interesting explanations about the history and local curiosities. In addition to being an excellent guide, Hugo gave us great recommendations of restaurants and viewpoints to enjoy your stay even more. This was fun! Guide Jose was an experienced and cheerful guide. This was a great way to orient ourselves to this beautiful city on our first day here. Wish we had booked a longer two hour tour so we could have also gone to the older part of town with him.

I recently made a tuktuk tour through Lisbon’s Christmas lights and the experience was simply charming! The guide Hugo was fantastic: super friendly, attentive and with an excellent knowledge about the city and the Christmas traditions. He took us through some of the most iconic spots, all stunningly lit, and even shared interesting stories about the history of Lisbon. The tuktuk is a very fun and comfortable way to explore the decorated streets, and the festive atmosphere of the city, with the lights and animation made the experience even more magical!
