We had a great time with Sara! She was friendly, informative, and flexible with our group of friends. We appreciated the downtime at various markets and stops to explore, shop, and eat. Sara also made sure to maximize the 8 hour trip with the most high yield sites. We appreciated the communication and keeping our group on track so we could see as much as possible.
This was a fantastic and informative tour, and Gustavo was a great and engaging host! We enjoyed every site we visited
The tour is very well organized, and having small groups gives you the chance to get to know and connect with the other participants. Ricardo is an excellent guide. Thank you!
We had fun, learnined a lot and Sarah was very good!!
I had a great time on this trip. Rodrigo was our tour guide and did an excellent job. Would highly recommend this to anyone in Lisbon for a few days
Great trip to visit places outside of Lisbon. Guide had a lot of local knowledge about each place we visited.
Sara was personal, kind and catered to our every need. She made the best of the very hot day and a closed castle. Without a doubt we wanted to tour anyway and she was incredible the entire day. Great driver and knowledge of the history is a huge bonus! Thank you Sara for our fantastic day! She made my 80 year old parents extremely comfortable. I can’t recommend her more! Enjoy the tour.
It was a great experience even though the Palace was closed. The main problem was the vehicle. Limited air con. Very old and uncomfortable. Pedro was great and very knowledgeable.
Our friendly tour guide, Rodrigo, picked us up on time from our hotel. The VW van was nicely equipped for the day's journey, especially the AC; it was 40°C/101°F on July 2, 2026. Once Rodrigo picked up the other six guests, we went to Sintra to visit the Pena Palace. Along the way, Rodrigo told us stories of the areas we were driving through and what we could expect at the Pena Palace. Upon arrival, he guided us up the long, steep palace road until we reached the beautiful palace. Rodrigo gave us directions and places to see, and let us roam throughout the palace on our own. We took lots of beautiful pictures overlooking Sintra. Afterward, we visited a small village below the palace. We enjoyed an iced coffee and travesseiros (tasty pastries); they were good, but not as good as a Pastel de Nata. We made our way to the westernmost point of Portugal, along the coast. The wind was perfect on a very hot day. After we took pictures along the coast. We headed to Cascais. The drive was lovely, and the beaches were stunning. Once we arrived in the upscale beach town of Cascais, we strolled through the shops in search of AC and had lunch at the Palms. The Palms had a food menu to cater to everyone. We then made our way to a local ice cream shop, Sanstini's. The passion fruit and tangerine were excellent, perfect flavors on a hot day. We then made our way back to our hotel in Lisbon. Rodrigo was a thoughtful and careful driver. We highly recommend taking a tour with Rodrigo. We provided him with a tip for an excellent day's journey.
I loved not having to worry about traffic, parking or tickets! Our guide was nice, knowledgeable and went the extra mile!
