Fu costruito nel 1891 nella posizione Fanari del promontorio Armenistis, a circa 5 km a nord-ovest di Chora. La sua costruzione fu decisa dopo che il battello a vapore britannico VOLTA affondò causando la morte di 11 membri dell'equipaggio nel 1887 sulla costa nord di Mykonos. La torre sale fino a 19 metri e ha un'altezza focale di 184 metri. Il meccanismo della lampada originale è stato realizzato da SAUTER LEMONIER e ha funzionato nella parte superiore del faro fino al 1983. Da allora una parte è stata conservata nel giardino del Museo marittimo dell'Egeo, nella zona dei Tre pozzi, a Chora.

We have visited Mykonos before, but this tour showed us places we had never seen. The off-road sections were fun, the scenery was stunning, and the local recommendations were excellent. Thank you WCM Mykonos for a memorable day, Dimitris was amazing !
The best part of the jeep ride was how much we got to see in just a few hours. We drove past farms and tiny villages, stopped by an old church, and then made our way down to a quiet beach where we had time to swim. It felt like we saw sides of Mykonos that most people miss. Dimitris knew exactly where to stop for the best photos and views without crowds. It was the perfect mix of sightseeing and relaxing. Highly recommended
Dmitris ran a great Jeep tour. He took us to all the key sights and to Agrari for some nice beach time. Great tour! When we come back to Mykonos, we will definitely look up this tour guide again.
