La Costa Basca è un autentico paradiso naturale con tesori che non troverai in nessun'altra parte del mondo. Scopri un territorio che detiene, una lussureggiante campagna simile a un labirinto verde, una costa versatile, una forte tradizione culturale, la lingua più antica d'Europa e in cui la cucina è una parte essenziale della cultura e della vita stessa.

Itinerario
Tolosa, l'ex capitale della regione e uno dei posti migliori per trovare prodotti crudi. Dopo una breve passeggiata attraverso il villaggio dove incontreremo molti palazzi e case ancestrali all'interno del suo centro storico, attraverseremo la Valle dell'Urola e visiteremo il Monte Ernio, considerato il balcone della regione e una delle sue vette più emblematiche.
Il Santuario di Loyola è un imponente tempio barocco del XVIII secolo, costruito intorno al luogo di nascita di Sant'Ignazio, il fondatore della Compagnia di Gesù, i gesuiti, che ha evidenziato la basilica.
faremo una breve sosta a Zumaia. La costa basca è un autentico paradiso naturale con tesori che non troverai in nessun'altra parte del mondo. Un esempio è il flysch di Zumaia che copre 14 km di costa, costituendo uno degli affioramenti geologici più importanti del pianeta.
Infine, prendendo una strada costiera panoramica, ci fermeremo nell'incantevole villaggio di Getaria. Nonostante sia molto piccola, gode di una meritata reputazione per i suoi ristoranti di pesce alla griglia, il vino Txakoli e i suoi due figli illustri: il famoso stilista Cristobal Balenciaga e Juan Sebastián Elcano, il primo uomo a circumnavigare la terra nel 1519

Andoni was a great guide. Warm, personable, engaging, knowledgeable. Spoke excellent English, was flexible in itinerary (even when we were already underway!), made excellent recommendations. Prompt and attentive. Vehicle was clean and appeared well maintained. Well worth the price. If we had longer to stay, my wife and I would have booked other excursions with him again without question.

We did a private tour starting right from our hotel at La Concha in San Sebastián, and it was an unforgettable day! We started our day with a 9am pick up & visited Monte Igueldo first, then made a stop at the beach in Zarautz before heading to Ameztoi Winery for a gorgeous tour and tasting — all set up by Andoni. After that, we went to Getaria for a lovely seaside lunch (also arranged by Andoni) and ended the day in Zumaia to see the incredible Flysch rock formations. We arrived back to the hotel at 5pm! Andoni was super knowledgeable, friendly, and fun — he customized the entire day to our interests and made everything seamless. He shared local insights we never would’ve known on our own and gave us the perfect mix of beautiful views, great food, and culture. Highly recommend booking a tour with him — it was one of the highlights of our trip!
