La Città Proibita, conosciuta anche come Museo del Palazzo e Gu Gong in cinese, si trova nel centro della città di Pechino e un tempo fungeva da palazzo imperiale per 24 imperatori durante le dinastie Ming e Qing (1368 - 1911 d.C.). Avrai la possibilità di fare un giro in barca al Palazzo d'Estate (aperto dal 1 aprile al 30 ottobre) per goderti il lago Kunming e anche scendere sull'isola esposta a sud e partire da un'altra uscita. A very welcoming and very knowledgeable guide. We took a guided tour including Tiananmen Square, the Summer Palace, … with a French-speaking guide, Tony! Tony told us the history associated with the different places we visited, took photos of us the whole time, and even accompanied us into the souvenir shops to assist us as needed. I recommend it! Tour was good. Guide was OK but not great. Viator wrote to me several times since demanding I write a review. Unlikely anyone will read this but if you do enjoy the tour.
Great way to see Beijing with a local who knows the sights and knows how to check into each place and is knowledgable about the sights! Linda kept me company while I visited the city alone. Taught me some history and some Chinese!

Linda, our guide, was absolutely amazing. She was kind and considerate, friendly and a wealth of knowledge about these significant Beijing landmarks. Mr Liu, our driver, was the best driver - patient despite the traffic, calm, and he made sure that we had plenty if water to stay hydrated in the hot conditions. It was a journey through time when we were with Lena. She was teaching us Chinese culture. It was so inspiring and amazing the history of Beijing that I felt like a great oak tree taking all in - the past and present. She is such a great and knowledgeable tourist guide. I recommend her to anyone who wants to have a great time in Beijing. Best tourist guide ever.

We had a fantastic day touring the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and the Summer Palace with Michael. His English was excellent and very easy to understand, which made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history, culture, and significance of each site, and explained everything in a very engaging and interesting way. Michael was also patient, friendly, and well organised throughout the day. He answered all of our questions with great detail and helped us appreciate the rich history behind each location. We learned so much and never felt rushed. Highly recommend Michael to anyone visiting Beijing and wanting a professional, knowledgeable, and friendly guide!
Great tour! Went with guide Mei and my daughters and I loved our tour. The car was comfortable and Mei customized it for want we wanted.
We shared a wonderful day with Mei (May), our guide. She spoke clearly and was able to be understood and heard by our group of 4, and the car was very comfortable. Mei was fun, pleasant, and customized our tour several times to make us happy. There were no aggressive sales, the food and tea was good, and the tour was well paced.
