Al mattino, la Guida e l'autista vi accoglieranno nella hall dell'hotel e vi accompagneranno in una giornata di trasferimenti senza problemi e senza preoccupazioni. Iniziamo da Piazza Tienanmen, il cuore dell’asse storico e moderno centro di potere di Pechino. Attraversa Chang’an Avenue per entrare nella piazza, ammirando gli edifici monumentali che mostrano i più alti standard architettonici della Cina. Ogni punto di riferimento che superiamo ha un significato simbolico, evidenziando il ruolo della piazza come cuore spirituale della nazione.

Entra nella magnifica Città Proibita (Palace Museum), il palazzo imperiale definitivo del mondo. Durante i suoi 500 anni come centro di potere dal 1420 al 1911 d.C., 24 imperatori delle dinastie Ming e Qing hanno governato successivamente qui, assistendo all'ascesa, al picco e alla caduta fatale dell'impero. Consigliamo vivamente di prenotare il tour il prima possibile; in caso contrario, i viaggiatori internazionali potrebbero dover fare la fila per acquistare i biglietti sul sito.

The overall tour was great! Our guide Murphy was very knowledgeable and made the day super fun. The food for lunch was really good. The tea ceremony was also very interesting. I loved being in a small group of 11, it made it much easier to get to know one another. My only complaints are that it’s a bit more on the expensive side for just seeing two sites and I really did not like having to try and be sold the stone stuff before lunch. Very minor things though as it was overall very fun and we had a great time! Also, be aware that you’ll spend about 2 hours at the start of the day waiting in a line for Tiananmen Square. It was no big deal I just wish I was told beforehand.

Great experience to see Tiananmen Square and the Great Wall! Lunch was really good and the tea ceremony was super interesting and fun! Only thing I wish was different is that I wish they told us about the extremely long wait to get through security for the square. Otherwise, great day tour and I feel like I got a lot of interesting information!
