Itinerario
La giornata comincia molto presto, con pickup tra le 3 : 00 e le 3 : 30 direttamente dal vostro ostello o hotel a Cusco a Cusipata. Il viaggio iniziale dura circa 1 ora e 30 minuti.
La prima tappa sarà a Cusipata per 30 minuti per fare colazione. Da lì, continuiamo il nostro viaggio per un’altra ora e mezza, passando per il villaggio di Pitumarca fino a raggiungere Hanchipata–Llama Chimpana, dove inizia l’escursione.
Inizierete la passeggiata ai piedi della catena montuosa di Ausangate e salirete per circa 1 ora e 45 minuti. Raggiungeremo quindi il punto più alto della Montagna Arcobaleno (Vinicunca), il posto migliore per vedere gli incredibili colori e la cima innevata di Ausangate.
Questo sarà il punto più alto della montagna. Avrete la possibilità di vedere diversi tipi di camelidi sudamericani (parenti dei cammelli). Visiteremo anche la Collina Rossa, dove avrai il tempo di goderti il paesaggio e scattare bellissime foto. Si prega di notare che il biglietto d'ingresso a Red Hill non è incluso nel prezzo del biglietto.
Sosta a Cusipata per pranzo.
Finirai l'escursione con una discesa di 1 ora su terreno pianeggiante, tornando al punto di partenza della passeggiata. L'autista vi aspetterà per riportarvi al quartiere di Cusipata per un pranzo tradizionale di 1 ora. Dopo pranzo, torneremo a Cusco, arrivando alle 15:30 circa.

This was the most amazing experience. David was an experienced, knowledgeable and highly supportive guide. This is quite challenging given the altitude but with David’s expertise we managed, and thoroughly enjoyed, the day. Rainbow Mountain is really great but the Red Valley blew us away. Went on a tour to the rainbow mountain and red valley with Darwin the guide and it was great. We went early to see the sites, we saw Andean eagles flying, which was great, and the weather was also really good
