This was our overall favorite lodging experience out of 8 places in Sri Lanka -- north, south, east and west. THe Manager, Priya, has this place running like clockwork. The meals are so delicious and are served right on time, the game drives occur when you asked them to happen, and any extra requests are handled immediately. The employees could not be more helpful. THey had a lovely cocktail hour the night before we left. It was so appreciated after a long day in the National Park. Our villa was perfect and our relaxing jetted pool was heaven. I am recommending Thamara Villas to my friends who will be in Sri Lanka in March. I can't wait to go back.

The elephants were a sight to behold - they paid no attention to us humans ogling them from our safari jeeps. A truly magical experience, the wind in your hair, the jeep negotiating a tough road and the elephants for company.
Booked last minute and the guys did a great job to pick us up quickly at our location to get us to the park on time. They made a great effort during the tour to spot various animals and to show as many as possible to us. Great value and would happily take them again if ever back.
We made a great Safari with the driver. Our driver and guide has eyes like a hawk and found so many hidden animals! We made two Safaris in one day. At first Minneriya in the morning after hotel pick up and seen 4 Elephants, monkeys, golden shackal, waterbuffalos and many special birds. After a lunchbreak at the deliciuos and hipster restaurant Rice and Curry we started our afternoon Safari in Hurulu Eco Park, where we saw 30 elephants and birds. Thank you for this perfect Safari day!
We booked the Colombo - Udawalawa route. The prices were extremely reliable. The driver Indika was professional and always on time, we never had to look for him, he was always ready at the given time and the given spot. He had taken us few nice local restaurants where we enjoyed the Lankan cuisine. The car was comfortable and driving was smooth. Would recommend him without any doubts.
