We had an absolutely fantastic trip to Monte Alban with Fernando. The site is stunning and Fernando is a great guide. Really good communication throughout and a nice comfortable car to travel in. Definitely book all your Oaxaca tours with Fernando!
We had a wonderful tour of Monte Ablan with Cesar, booked through TripAdvisor! He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and made it our best day in Oaxaca! Top notch, highly recommended. Thank you!
Monte Alban is spectacular! We chose a private tour because the history of the site is complicated and wanted a more in-depth guide experience to better understand the history and archeology of the site. Our guide Fernando was outstanding and he was expert in all things Monte Alban. He was patient with all of our questions and led a well paced tour based on our interests. Pickup at our private accommodations was on time and he was an excellent guide/driver with perfect English skills and great preteip communication via the app. This was one of the highlights of our trip. General advice- go early in the morning before it gets too hot, take water and wear sturdy shoes.
Excellent tour guide (in English) for a family of 8 including 2 kids under 5 and four grandparents, one with mobility issues. The guide provided a clear and detailed history and framing so we understood the origins of the ruins in the broader context of Mexican history. The guide provided walking options for the kids and the grandparent with mobility issues. Would recommend this private tour over and over again.
Personal guide for our group of four was perfect. Caesar was a phenomenal and knowledgeable guide! We truly got a 10 out of 10 experience!
We had SO much fun! Fernando is so knowledgeable and a fantastic guide. And we're so glad we sprung for a private tour; no crowds and plenty of time to explore!
Miguel was our guide for a tour of Monte Albon. He was very knowledgeable and enjoyed sharing information on the cultures that built and as well as used the site. I recommend this tour as part of a visit to Oaxaca.
Fernando was excellent guide: friendly and informative. The three hour trip to Monte Alban was well worth the time and money.
Fernando was an excellent guide! He was very punctual and had a clean and comfortable car for our trip to Monte Albán . He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area, and was able to answer all of our questions. We learned so much and had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend him to anyone visiting.
Fernando is fantastic!! Highly recommended. He grew up nearby so he's been coming to Monte Alban since he was a child. He is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Oaxaca and it's history. There wasn't one question I asked that didn't open up a well of knowledge inside him. And even you don't care so much about history, Fernando knows all the best picture views (and is happy to snap them!) Plus he's super nice, with a lot of patience.
