È un'opzione di mezza giornata molto flessibile Ci incontreremo nel nostro ufficio, raduneremo il gruppo e questo è tutto: viaggeremo per 30 minuti fino a Monte Alban. Lì ci aspetterà la nostra guida, che potrà parlare spagnolo o inglese (scegliete una delle due). Acquisteremo i biglietti d'ingresso (non inclusi) $210 MXN per gli stranieri/$105 per i cittadini nazionali (gennaio 2026) e il nostro tour inizierà Siamo rinomati per la qualità delle nostre guide, appassionate ed esperte, che rendono la visita molto piacevole. Miguel was the best guide any of us has ever had on our tours around the world. He was deeply interested and interesting in the evolution of humankind. This was our third time to Monte Alban for two of us and Miguel rocked.
Excellent guide. All very well organised and a 1/2 day tour is just perfect time. Not rootless and not too much. Monte Alban is a must see when in Oaxaca.
Tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of the history of Monte Alban with us, but also about Oaxaca. Monte Alban is super beautiful and definitely worth the visit!

Great tour! learned a lot that I would not have on my own. The guide was friendly, informative and the transportation to and from Monte Alban was an easy ride. Try to go on the earlier side to avoid spending time in line to purchase tickets!
Miguel was an exceptional guide. He is calm, informative without being overwhelming and very knowledgeable. His English was perfect which was important to me because I wanted to really learn about the civilization. Our group of five had a great time. The bus was very clean with wonderful air conditioning. The driver was on time and very careful.
Booking our half-day tour to Monte Albán was simple and it was easy to locate the organizer. The collective transportation to the Monte Albán archaeological site was fine; it is also worth noting positively the flexibility of the return trip, which runs every hour. In short, we got what we paid for. However, there are some critical points: The guide who took us to the van did not introduce himself or tell us anything about the itinerary. There was also no communication during the trip in the truck. Only when getting off at Monte Albán did they say a few words to us about the itinerary. The local guide got lost in details and secondary issues and completely forgot to explain the big picture: what Monte Albán is, who lived here, when, why, and for how long, the whole context… Instead, details like individual trees or rooms were explained. That is also important and interesting, but it is quite irrelevant for a one-hour guided tour. In general, we are not dissatisfied, but the organizer could have gotten much more out of this experience for the trip participants.
Guide was truly magnificent. Knew so much and went out of his way to help older visitors who had some trouble with the steps.
The Mont Alban experience was just magnificent. I loved every minute of it. Miguel was also a very knowledgeable tour guide and related history and stories with passion and a wonderful sense of humor. A highly recommended experience.
