Hakone è una bellissima zona montuosa nel Parco Nazionale Fuji-Hakone-Izu. A solo mezz'ora da Tokyo con il treno ad alta velocità, una gita di un giorno a Hakone è assolutamente da fare. Famosa per le sue sorgenti termali, il pittoresco lago del cratere (Lago Ashi) e la vista mozzafiato del Monte Fuji, Hakone è completamente circondata dalla meravigliosa natura del Giappone. Questo tour di Hakone di un'intera giornata è un mix attentamente curato di storia, cultura, natura e attività divertenti. Itinerario
La guida ti incontrerà nella hall dell'hotel tra le 7:30 e le 8:30 (a seconda della posizione dell'hotel). Se preferisci, viaggerai fino alla stazione di Shinagawa o di Tokyo in metropolitana o in taxi. Le spese di trasporto fino alla stazione di Tokyo sono a tuo carico.
Arrivo alla stazione di Odawara nel Parco Nazionale Fuji-Hakone-Izu con lo Shinkansen (treno ad alta velocità)
Trasferimento alla città termale di Hakone Yumoto con il treno locale.
Visita il magnifico Santuario Hakone risalente al 1667 e famoso per la sua porta Torii nell'acqua. Scopri la storia del Santuario di Hakone e della religione indigena giapponese dello shintoismo. Poi fai una passeggiata lungo uno dei pochi tratti rimasti della vecchia strada Tokaido, costruita all'inizio del XVII secolo. Cammina lungo lo stesso identico percorso che i viaggiatori facevano centinaia di anni fa.
Sali a bordo di una crociera turistica sul grande Lago Ashi e immergiti nelle viste mozzafiato del Monte Fuji dall'acqua (a seconda del tempo).
Sali sulla funivia Hakone per salire sul monte Hakone, dove potrai vedere il monte Fuji da un altro punto di osservazione (a seconda del tempo).
Entra nella "valle dell'inferno" dove i fumi solforosi vengono espulsi dal vulcano attivo e prova alcune leggendarie uova nere cotte nelle sorgenti termali locali. (non preoccuparti, è perfettamente sicuro!)
Da Owakudani (valle dell'inferno) viaggeremo fino alla stazione di Gora tramite la funivia, dove ci trasferiremo poi sull'Hakonetozan - funivia - un sistema ferroviario costruito nelle montagne da cui potrete godervi la vista tranquilla dell'area circostante.
Scegli tra una visita al Museo d'arte all'aperto di Hakone o un tradizionale Onsen per la penultima tappa di questo tour. All'Hakone Open Air Museum l'arte e la natura sono un tutt'uno. Vedrai opere di artisti famosi come Henry Moore e Pablo Picasso, nonché celebri artisti giapponesi. All'Onsen (sorgente termale) ti rilasserai e rinfrescerai il tuo corpo e la tua mente. Questa è l'esperienza culturale più eccezionale in Giappone.* Tieni presente che non è consentito indossare costumi da bagno negli onsen. Entrerai nelle piscine nudo (separato per sesso). Asciugamani, articoli da toeletta e lozioni per la pelle sono tutti forniti, quindi non è necessario portare nulla con sé. *Se hai dei tatuaggi, comunicacelo al momento della prenotazione e ti porteremo in un onsen adatto ai tatuaggi.
Sia che tu scelga di esplorare il museo o di immergerti nelle sorgenti termali, finiremo il tour con una rapida occhiata ai negozi di souvenir di Hakone Yumoto.
Da Hakone-Yumoto torneremo a Odawara tramite un treno locale e poi viaggeremo con il treno ad alta velocità per tornare a Tokyo.
Torniamo a Shinagawa o alla stazione di Tokyo con il treno proiettile. Il tour termina alla stazione e la guida ti aiuterà a prendere un taxi o la metropolitana per raggiungere il tuo hotel. Per favore comunica alla tua guida turistica se hai bisogno che ti accompagnino al tuo hotel.

When you go to Tokyo, definitely include the Private Hakone Tour with Miko. You’ll ride a Bullet Train, a cable car, and a Pirate ship all while enjoying the beautiful mountains around Mt. Fuji. Miko also took us to and from our hotel, to guide us through Tokyo’s complicated subway systems. Then she emails all of the photos she took of us along with a written recap of the places we visited during the tour. She is an Amazing Tour Guide and we think of her as family.

Beautiful temples. Lots of walking along well maintained areas. Without Yasu I would still be lost in the bowels of the subway. 😮😮

This was a great tour and Yasu was so down to earth and fun. He knew a lot about the places we visited, he had little tricks to get us some great photos without having to stand in long lines, and one of our favorite parts of the day was actually sitting at lunch chatting! The tour itself offered some really fun ways to see some very interesting areas. Trains, cable cars, ropeway, and a really cool tour boat!

We had the most amazing day with our superb guide Paiva who looked after us so well all day from picking us up to dropping us off 11 hours later, she was very knowledgeable and aware of our needs at all times. It was the most magical day I had been worrying I would not be able to cope with all the walking steps etc., but I had no problem at all so don’t be put off.

We traveled from Tokyo to Odawara Station by Shinkansen (bullet train). From there we transferred to Hakone Yumoto by local train and then boarded a taxi which took us directly to Hakone Shrine. Hakone Shrine We explored Hakone Shrine which dates back to 1667, discussed Shintoism, and learned about how this shrine is linked to the first Emperor of Japan. We took pictures by the torii gate in the water. Lake Ashi We took a boat across Lake Ashi, once believed to house the 9 headed dragon that caused steam eruptions by the nearby mountains. Hakone Ropeway We took a nice ropeway up towards Owakudani Owakudani We explored an active volcano and ate black eggs, adding 7 years to your life! Hakone Tozan Cable Car We rode on a cable car through the mountains. This special cable car system dates back to 1922. Hakone Open Air Museum We visited Japan’s first open-air museum which includes works from Henry Moore and Picasso and local Japanese artists Ryoji Goto (the black and red dancing people), and Takamichi Ito (the steel turning sticks) amongst others. Finally, we traveled back to Tokyo by Shinkansen.

Sid was so organized - the day was well planned, he communicated the plan very well, kept us up to date on each stage (ie prepped us for the next step at each stage), was very knowledgeable, gave expert food tips!, and was amazing with the kids (and big kids)!
