Our family loves exploring new places on our own, so we rarely join guided tours. However, since we had limited time in Portugal, we didn't want to waste precious time figuring out transportation, waiting for buses or trains, or worrying about taking the wrong route. That's why we decided to join the Sintra and Fátima tours with Yellow Cab TT Tours. Both tours were led by Ricardo, and we feel incredibly lucky to have had him as our guide for both experiences! After our first tour, our whole family liked him so much that I messaged Fabio to let him know how much we appreciated Ricardo. Fabio kindly arranged for Ricardo to be our guide for the Fátima tour as well. We were absolutely delighted! One of our biggest concerns about joining guided tours was whether we would have enough time to enjoy each attraction. However, Ricardo planned both tours so well that we never felt rushed. His driving skills were excellent, and he seemed to know all the best shortcuts to help us make the most of our time at each stop. The journey itself was never boring. Ricardo kept us entertained with his jokes while sharing interesting historical facts, stories, and cultural insights about the places we were visiting. He also guided us to the most important sights and explained their significance, so we didn't just see the attractions — we truly understood what made them special. We learned so much about Portuguese history, culture, and local stories that we would probably have missed if we had explored on our own. Our Fátima tour was especially challenging because our group included people who spoke three different languages. Ricardo had to explain the stories and information in all three languages throughout the tour, which is certainly no easy task! I know he speaks five languages and is even learning Chinese now. Despite the challenge, he did an outstanding job making sure everyone could understand and enjoy the experience. We didn't feel that we missed out on anything, and I believe everyone in our group was happy with his guidance. Ricardo is not only knowledgeable and professional but also friendly, entertaining, and genuinely dedicated to making sure everyone has a wonderful experience. We are so grateful to him for making our Portugal trip even more memorable. I would definitely recommend Yellow Cab TT Tours to my friends and anyone visiting Portugal! If you want to see the attractions without the stress of planning transportation yourself, I highly recommend booking a tour with them. And if you are lucky enough to have Ricardo as your guide, you are in for a fantastic experience!

I only had a few hours in the morning so did a private tour to Cascais with my wonderful tour guide Paula. She was professional and very friendly and I had a great time talking to her. She was very flexible and happy to adopt the tour if I wanted - Cascais is a lovely place. I thoroughly enjoyed my morning and made a new friend.

An Exceptional Tour Guide and an Unforgettable Experience! We had the absolute pleasure of spending the day with Pedro, and we could not have asked for a better tour guide or a better experience in Portugal. Pedro has an incredible wealth of knowledge about the history, culture, and stories of Portugal, and his passion for his country truly shines through. We learned so much while visiting Fátima, Sintra, Cascais, and Lisbon, and he had a way of bringing every place to life through his stories and explanations. What really impressed us was the level of detail Pedro provided at every stop. He pointed out intricate details, shared stories and explained things that we never would have noticed or understood had we visited these places on our own. Having him there added an entirely different level of appreciation and understanding to everything we were seeing. This was also a big, busy day with a lot of driving — at times close to an hour and a half between stops — but honestly, those drives felt like 20 minutes. The conversation was so enjoyable and Pedro had so much history and knowledge to share that the time just flew by. He was also fantastic with our kids, keeping them engaged and making the experience enjoyable for our entire family. As impressive as his knowledge is, what stood out just as much was Pedro himself. He was kind, patient, thoughtful, funny, engaging, and genuinely caring throughout the entire day. We never felt rushed, he was always happy to answer our questions, and he gave us so many great suggestions for places to visit, things to see, food to try, and ways to make the most of the rest of our time in Portugal. A great guide can show you a destination, but an exceptional guide makes you feel connected to it — and Pedro did exactly that. He made what could have been a long and exhausting day feel effortless, enjoyable, educational, and truly memorable. We are incredibly grateful that we had the opportunity to meet him. Pedro is not only an outstanding guide with an enormous wealth of knowledge, but an amazing person and an absolute pleasure to spend the day with. If you are booking a tour in Portugal, make sure you ask for Pedro. He’s the man! We would recommend him without hesitation and would absolutely choose him again if we return.
