Lawrence was a great guide. He knew so much about the area our site and was more than happy to share his knowledge. He took us to many great sights unexpectedly we saw the ocean so can take that off the must see list. I most enjoyed going to Braga and seeing Bom Jesus do Monte

We had a wonderful experience with this tour company and our guide Cristovao. A private day trip to Braga and Guimarães is the best way to see these two historic cities. Cris also made arrangements for us to have a lunch at a great restaurant in Braga. Cris was very knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic about all things Portugal. I also had a very positive experience with the tour company, Meridian4People, who were very responsive to my email messages and were very accommodating to our group's requirements.

We wanted a day trip from Porto and this tour was perfect, a full day but we did visit two amazing places ate lunch in a local restaurant that was constructed over Roman ruins, we did visit two religious sites with amazing views of the valley that protects Braga, we got to try a ride on one of the oldest funiculars in the world and we ended the day at the cradle of Portugal our driver Inês was amazing friendly accommodating full of great stories history and life in Portugal I highly recommend this day tour from Porto
