Itinerario
Inizia il tour al tuo hotel o Alloggio nel centro di Porto, alle 8: 00 AM. Viaggeremo poi verso la Valle del Douro. Nota: il tuo indirizzo deve essere fornito al momento della prenotazione o qualche giorno prima dello svolgimento del tour o verrà fissato un punto di incontro. - IL PICK-UP È ESCLUSIVO PER LA ZONA DEL CENTRO DI PORTO. NON offriamo pick-up da Vila Nova de Gaia, Matosinhos, la zona costiera di Porto, o altre località al di fuori del centro della città.
Quando possibile ci fermiamo alla città di Peso da Régua, una città storica della Valle del Douro associata al commercio del vino. Qui forniamo ai nostri ospiti una breve spiegazione sulla città e concediamo un po 'di tempo libero per un caffè e foto.
Quinta do Tedo è una delle numerose cantine che possiamo visitare nel nostro tour. In questa visita imparerai a conoscere il processo di vinificazione di Quinta do Tedo con una Guida locale. Comprende una sessione di degustazione guidata di vini dove ti verranno spiegati i diversi vini da degustare. Nel cuore della Valle del Douro avrete la possibilità di visitare Pinhão. In passato Pinhão era un luogo importante per il commercio e il trasporto del vino dal Douro a Porto. Il vino è stato prima commercializzato e successivamente spedito nella tradizionale barca Rabelo per rimanere invecchiato a Vila Nova de Gaia, appena oltre il fiume a Porto. Nel villaggio di Pinhão ci fermiamo per una crociera fluviale di 1 ora e pranziamo in un ristorante tradizionale locale. La maggior parte del tour ha il fiume Douro come scenario scenico durante il giorno. Le cantine che vengono visitate offrono incredibili viste sul fiume.
Quinta do Beijo è la seconda cantina di diverse cantine che possiamo visitare nel nostro tour. Questa è una piccola cantina locale con ottimi vini che non si possono comprare in città. La visita viene solitamente effettuata dal proprietario stesso della proprietà mentre vi racconta di più sulla produzione e sui sapori dei suoi vini. Rientreremo a Porto dalla Valle del Douro e torneremo verso le 18:00 (a seconda del traffico), dove la nostra Guida ti lascerà al punto di partenza selezionato.

Il pick-up dall'hotel è incluso nel centro di Porto (solo per le opzioni che includono il pick-up). Si prega di fornire i dettagli dell'Alloggio al momento del checkout. Se la tua posizione è al di fuori dell'area di prelievo, ti suggeriremo un comodo punto di incontro nelle vicinanze. Excellent service from start to finish of our small group trip to the Douro Valley. Pedro (Pep) was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining throughout. We had a very special trip and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to take in amazing scenery along with tasty wines and port with again friendly informative owners. Even the lunch stop off for local food was extremely good along with a nice relaxing boat ride. Thoroughly enjoyable experience

We booked this tour the morning before it was scheduled and by that evening, I was very sick and bed ridden the next day, so sadly, were not able to enjoy this experience. As we had only booked it the morning before, I quite disappointed that upon contacting the tour group to notify of extreme sickness, we were refused any kind of refund. Due to this, we would unfortunately not book with this tour company in future trips. Overall, we were very sad to miss this as the reviews of others looked wonderful.
Our tour guide Ricardo was amazing! He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He helped the whole group get acquainted early on and made the whole day a great experience. Both wineries we went to were small family owned businesses. We were the only people there when we first arrived so it felt like a true VIP experience.

It was an interesting day to visit the Douro Valley . Excellent driver who was well versed in the area. However, maybe a bit too long in doing some things. There was an hour long cruise down and up the river. Pretty but not necessary in my opinion. Regardless a good way to experience the ports and wine of the region.

We really want to give Sandros a shout out here. The whole trip/tour was really high value, but our guide was the real star. He is friendly, knowledgeable, laid back, and an all-around pleasure to spend the day with. We were fortunate to have great rapport with the other guests so that made for a very fun experience. So much consideration was made to ensure everyone’s comfort and safety. We would highly recommend this excursion!

Lovely Day with a great guide, Marcio. Interesting information along the way without being too much. Wine tastings were fun, but maybe a bit too much, with Wine producer tasting, Lunch with Wine, Boat ride with Wine tasting and a final vineyard wine tasting. But well worth the trip, depending on how much you want to taste I suppose. But spectacular scenery every moment.

We had an absolutely incredible wine tour, and João was the perfect tour operator! He was extremely knowledgeable about the Douro River, the region, and especially the incredible Port wines. He made the entire experience fun, interesting, and unforgettable. Lunch was excellent—with WAY too much delicious food to eat! The bottles were flowing, and we got to try so many amazing wines throughout the day. The whole experience was relaxed, fun, and absolutely worth every penny. João truly went above and beyond to make the day special. 11 out of 10 stars! I would fully recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Douro Valley. If you're debating whether it's worth the money—book it. You won't regret it!

Our guide, Ivo, was amazing from start to finish. He picked us up directly from our hotel on time and was very knowledgeable about the region and the history. Overall, it was just the right amount of time in the wineries and we were able to stop at a small village on the way for breakfast which was a nice addition. Highly recommend this tour!

Absolutely fantastic day with our guide EDUARDO leading the way. The views were incredible as we entered the Douro valley, and once we stopped at our first winery we were ready to imbibe some lovely produce. It was fantastic. We then went for a beautiful lunch of baked Sea Bream & pork stew before a quick river cruise to take in more scenery and we were off to the 2nd winery to keep our blood/alcohol levels on a steady track. We inevitably all fell asleep on the way back. It was such a brilliant day. EDUARDO was an amazing guide, so knowledgable and funny. Would highly recommend.
