L'ultima dimora degli americani che persero la vita nella battaglia delle Ardenne e nell'avanzata verso il fiume Reno durante la seconda guerra mondiale.
Dalheim è un villaggio nel sud-est del Lussemburgo. Esistono testimonianze di un insediamento romano chiamato Ricciacum. Il sito archeologico contiene resti di case private ed edifici pubblici qui costruiti intorno al II secolo d.C.
Aspelt è un piccolo borgo con il castello risalente al XVI secolo e la chiesa di Sant’Andrea. Il villaggio è associato a un'importante figura politica del XIII secolo che influenzò la storia del Lussemburgo.
Mondorf-les-Bains è una piccola cittadina nel sud-est del Lussemburgo, al confine con la Francia. La città è famosa per il suo centro termale e il parco termale con giardino alla francese, Orangerie, Rosarie, fontane e sculture.
Schengen è un piccolo villaggio vinicolo sulla sponda occidentale del fiume Mosella, dove si incontrano i confini di Lussemburgo, Germania e Francia. Il nome del villaggio divenne noto dopo la firma dell'accordo di Schengen nel 1985.

We had an amazing time on our private car tour from Luxembourg City to the Moselle Valley. Our guide, Alma, was fantastic and tailored the entire 80 km route to our specific interests in history and local traditions. We saw gorgeous villages, historical sites, and wine cellars, breaking up the drive with beautiful short walks and a relaxing stop at a local cafe. It was incredibly comfortable and perfectly paced. It can be longer than the advertised 5 hours, which is a good thing, so plan accordingly. Be prepared to absorb a lot of history, including names, places and dates.
Alma was fantastic! She is a wealth of knowledge on history and the city and country of Luxembourg. The city walk was beautiful and quite easy for me (I was on a cane) and had no problem keeping up. We signed on for a private tour and I learned so much about the city of Luxembourg that I hope we go back and spend more time. The drive through the countryside was spectacular on our way to Shengan.
