This tour focused on the Inca sites in and around the city. Our guide was energetic and did a wonderful job and each site that we visited. I particularly liked the focus on the Inca sites because they required driving to them and the guided exploration was of more value. We did walk to the colonial city easily from our hotel and didn’t need a guide for that.
This tour focused on the Inca sites, which was perfect as the colonial sites are easy to walk and not as interesting. We had plenty of time at all the sites and our was engaging and informative. Highly recommend
Joan is a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable and a great storyteller. Be aware that this tour covers many of the historical sights around Cusco, but not much of the central city.
One of the best city tours we’ve had. Tour guide, Joan was great . saw the view point at san Cristobal, held a baby lamb, visited Sacayhuaman, visited an alpaca and llama farm, visited some other inca ruins.
We booked our entire private trip to Cusco with Mi Guia Machupicchu, and it was one of the best decisions we made. On our first day, our guide Soledad took us to some of the most important archaeological sites in Cusco. It was a relaxed day, filled with fascinating history and insights about each place we visited. At Saqsaywaman, Soledad vividly described the historical events that took place there, bringing the site to life for us. We also explored the Q'enco Archaeological Complex, enjoyed the views from San Cristobal Mirador, fed alpacas and llamas, and stopped at a local textile store where we purchased beautiful gifts. Throughout the day, Soledad captured many wonderful photos for us, which we will always treasure. She was amazing—knowledgeable, fun, and attentive—and together with our kind driver Cesar, they made our first day in Cusco truly unforgettable. Definitely an experience we will always remember!
Juan was an extremely knowledgeable guide who has spent many years guiding at both Machu Pichu and Cusco. He was steeped in Incan history and provided terrific insight into the sites we visited, as well as the culture and heritage of the city and its inhabitants. His English was great, he booked us a wonderful lunch in town, and he was very enjoyable to be around. I highly recommend Juan and this tour!
The tour operator was above and beyond: excellent communication, and a wonderful and well-planned tour based on our interests. It was our first day in Cusco before going on the Inca Trail, and we wanted to see some parts of Cusco. Juan planned a perfect afternoon for us, and we had a fantastic time together. We ended up staying with the same driver the next day; he was super kind and professional. I highly recommend Juan and his company for anything you would like to do in Cusco.
The trip to Peru was an unforgettable experience, the agency treated us to another level. They are excellent and very attentive. They care about their customers. Thanks to them we were able to learn about their culture and the history of the different tourist places. It is a different connection with nature💪🙏. We enjoyed the whole trip. I highly recommend them. They know what they do. 💪🔥The culture ❤️
We had a great tour in Cusco with Mi Guia Machupucchu. Our guide, Joan, is very knowledgeable, and speaks very good English. You can tell he loves Inca culture and loves to share his knowledge with tourists. Together with our driver, Juan, Joan took very good care of us. We will definitely consider using Mi Guia Machupicchu if we come back to visit in the future.
This tour was amazing. Both the driver Juan, and Joan the tour guide were very amicable and cared about what me and my husband wanted to do and see. They even arrange transportation for us after the Tour to take us back to the airport. Joan is very knowledgeable and hope to one day be able to read the book he’s writing. They even provided the tour disregard that the city had a strike so that they can make sure that the tourist get to experience the city without being affected by what other people are doing in their city.
