Scendendo dall'Obersalzberg sulla strada per la città di Berchtesgaden vedrete anche dove si trovavano i complessi sotterranei di bunker sotto la montagna e i terreni dove Adolf Hitler aveva la sua residenza, il Berghof. Dopo la visita al parco del Berghof, proseguirai fino alla bellissima cittadina bavarese di montagna di Berchtesgaden, situata nella valle del fiume Kings River. Sul viaggio di ritorno a Salisburgo viaggerete lungo il Kings Creek fino al vostro hotel o in qualsiasi altra destinazione di Salisburgo.

Lasciamo la città di Salisburgo guidando verso sud fino al confine tedesco, la tua guida privata ti spiegherà la storia della città di Salisburgo e come, per molti anni, fu un principato indipendente governato dalla chiesa cattolica e l'importanza del sale e di come ha influenzato la crescita della città. Sulla strada per il capolinea degli autobus di Obersalzberg avremo un paio di fantastiche soste. La tua guida privata ti mostrerà dove si trovava tutto tra il 1933 e il 1945. Luoghi come i terreni del Berghof, l'ingresso ai bunker, la caserma delle SS e molto altro. Dopo aver dato un'immagine mentale e l'orientamento spaziale della montagna, un modello in scala al terminal degli autobus ti aiuterà a capire dove si trova tutto.
Visita l'Eagle Nest con la tua guida privata. Dal terminal degli autobus Eagle's Nest. Salirete a bordo di un autobus di montagna appositamente attrezzato per un giro mozzafiato lungo la strada di 4 miglia, con il 27% di pendenza su un altopiano roccioso. Da lì cammineremo attraverso un tunnel lungo 406 piedi (124 metri), conducendoci direttamente all'ascensore originale in ottone della seconda guerra mondiale che ti trasporterà attraverso il cuore della montagna Kehlstein per un altro 406 piedi, direttamente nel nido dell'Aquila stessa. Dopo un tour attraverso l'Eagle's Nest, avrai del tempo libero per goderti la vista o fare un rinfresco.
Scendendo da Obersalzberg proseguiamo verso la bellissima città di montagna bavarese di Berchtesgaden, situata nella valle del fiume Koenigssee. Avrai tempo di esplorare Berchtesgaden da solo prima di tornare a Salisburgo

This half day tour to Eagle's Nest was very informative and interesting. Our guide, Michael, did a great job explaining everything and made the experience entertaining. Even our teenage son was paying attention :) I would highly recommend this private tour.
Luciano was a lovely and very knowledgeable guide for this tour. Some recent health issues have meant that I’m slower and struggle over distances but he was patient and made accommodations where he could to ensure our experience was as inclusive as it could be. Comfortable shoes are a must as is sunscreen for when you get to the summit to enjoy that rare air.
Luciano was wonderful--it was a pleasure to spend the afternoon with him!! A great way to see Eagles Nest and Salzburg
Carlos our tour guide was fantastic ! Very informative & entertaining. The trip up the mountain was amazing. Snow capped peaks & lush green valley. Eagles Nest itself was so interesting. A must see
We would highly recommend the private tour even though it is pricey. Our guide, Michael, was friendly and kind. His knowledge about everything was extensive. He obviously enjoys his job! Thank you, Michael!
We were on a tour with a private tour company. We drove halfway up the mountain where we parked the bus and got onto special electric buses which took us to the top of the mountain. Once there we walked in a tunnel to an elaborately decorated elevator that took us up to the Eagle’s Nest, which was built in 1938. We walked though what is today a restaurant but was once the retreat of Adolf Hitler. The rain finally stopped, and we got a great view of the valley below. You could walk around the facility and have a bite to eat if you wish. Eagle’s Nest or Kehlsteinhaus sits at an elevation of 1834 meters. We were advised there were 2000 visitors today, probably less than usual because of the rain. We were next to the last bus down off the mountain at 1700.
Amazing architecture and construction. The views are unbelievable. Carlos did a great job navigating the crowds and keeping our wait times low, especially with my dad who is older and has troubles walking. He is very knowledgeable and told us the real story of what happened vs Hollywood. We even got to do some extra stuff that wasn’t included. He knew which things to do when, how long they would take, the best path to walk.

Pick up and drop-off at our hotel and pre-trip communication was seamless. Very comfortable ride (there were 6 of us) and our guide had lots of interesting information about eagle's nest but also more general info about the region. We had sufficient time to do the exploring and visiting we wanted to do and our guide was particularly helpful in getting us and out of the bus (you can't drive the last portion of the road) in order to minimize wait times. I wish we had had more time for the museum at the end but all in all, it was an educational experience and the trip was smooth and easy.
